Hey edd what do you think about these Bernard rumours? I generally view Espn as a pretty reliable news source although I'm curious to hear you're opinion, also what you think of the player. He looks like a fairly intelligent player who certainly has a few tricks up his sleeves, not a bad cross on him and can finish decently. I will say it would seem strange given that wenger has gnabry and Ryo for LW position but I definitely think our wing play would benefit from a bit of flair.

HooverGooner {Ed027's Note - I have my doubts mate, it's one reporter who I've never heard of who is banking on it, it's really not Wenger's style to by a Brazilian kid for 20m+. Imo he is a class act, already part of the Brazil team, and I don't see why he doesn't play instead of the vastly overrated Hulk, with Gervinho looking like he's on his way, Bernard would be an amazing replacement

Gnarby and Ryo are both RW {Ed027's Note - Ryo can play either side, Gnabry can play either side and off the striker, just like Bernard

Sweet, both can play either wing. If Bernard was to come in could finally give us the strength in depth we have been missing! Youth, and bags of potential! Not saying I don't want an established, experienced star to come in! I fear we will fail in this window. Can't see Bernard coming though! I'd be happy with a genuine world class forward and an out and out DM! If our issues which are plain to see aren't addressed, I will be seriously f**k*d off! If anything, us money paying fans deserve it! I thought Chelsea would win next season but man city with their spending spree has put me in doubt! This could potentially be our most realistic chance of actually challenging if we secure a few world class players. The longer we wait I can't see it happening, and if spurs hold on to monkey boy then I think are luck may run out and they might trump us! Bit of a longen, but I'm half cut and its what I think! Gnarby & Ryo are no where near as good as Bernard. This guy looks the real deal and would be a great piece of business by Wenger. However I won't believe it until it's official.
