We mutually agreed to cancel/terminate his contract. Therefore he left on a free transfer, however we didn't have to pay off the remainder of his contract.

To be honest, I'm just glad he's gone. No only Park, Bendtner and Chamakh to go. These players will go near the end of the window once WE have sorted out our striking options.

Thats even worse so if they was to sell him for £30 we would only get 2.5m. still sounds like a bum deal. lol
