Thanks for the support Lakerville. But looking at the general consensus it looks like its 99% anti-Wenger.
I still love the guy, but maybe I'm wrong.

Nope you are entirely right. It's easy to 'support' someone when they are winning trophies, bringing in the greatest players in our history, playing the best ever football seen at the club, and being totally committed to the cause (all thos that say he is doing it for the money are deluded he could and would have got much more money elsewhere, even this summer).

But it seems easier to turn on him totally and lack any loyalty or dignity as supporters. Arsene does my head in. The summer transfer window has been an abject failure. He is too stubborn for his own good and ours. BUT while I can and will criticise him I cannot stand the absolute one eyed views of most here.

We are all entitled to our views, you ae clearly entitled to think maybe Arsene has had his day, but you owe him respect and a hell of a lot of gratitude. If you can't see and understand that I truly despair.

No doubt Wengerism I can take some of the hate mail now. I don't care, I see his faults but he is the greatest individual in our history.

Correction 99.99%.

Feel the same way. If we had a Dein like figure (dare I say a director of football. ) then Wenger would totally be the right man for the job.

Just feel Wenger takes on too much and this is the root cause of all of this.

If we changed managers the new employee would not be afforded such power and if Wenger won't relinquish it or learn then he should go.

The game has changed and Wenger does not seem to.

Love the man though, actually the one person I would most like to meet. Principled, decent, intelligent and a visionary.
