Eds as you know I don't really enjoy the transfer season as it winds me up to see how Arsenal seem to go about things. But I would like to ask you this question. It seems to me that we have a big problem getting clubs to sell to us or even loan us a player.Behind closed doors could it be the rumour is that Arsenal are a nightmare to deal with and clubs and players give us a wide berth, or is there another reason that us meanials are not party to that you boys might know about.Seems to be the same story time and time again.Please don't quote Ozil as an example
as he is the exception rather than the rule. Thanks boys.

{Ed001's Note - Wenger is very careful with his money, to the point that players often feel unwanted by the way he haggles over what are minor amounts.}

Ed. it's not his money!

{Ed001's Note - I know. One player personally told me that he ended up rejecting a move to Arsenal, when he was keen to make it happen, because the way Wenger quibbled made him think he wasn't bothered about whether he signed him or not. So he started to wonder if he was actually going to be first choice or sit on the bench. Because he was first choice where he was, he decided to turn the offer down.}

That is worrying information.

Thanks ed, why do we put ourselves through this every 6myths!

{Ed001's Note - just be glad you don't follow Leeds or Rangers.}

Ed001. At last! thanks very much mate. Now it all makes sense. I knew there must be a reason for us getting the elbow time and time again and the example you pointed out sounds like the type of experience which would turn any club or player off of joining us once this becomes common knowledge which to me seems to have happened far to often over the seasons. It never made sense to me why we kept getting so many blanks. But as you pointed out we sound like bad news to deal with. If we were easy to deal with who wouldn't want to play for us.? that's it in a nutshell.
