Firstly, I am a big Wenger fan. Always have been and prob always will.

However, we will have missed a trick, again, if we do not improve today. With the Sanchez exception, all we have done is replace sold or out of contract players.

Sagna/Debuchy
Verm/Chambers
Fabianski/Ospina

We knew we were aging or short in aggressive central midfield. We know we lack cover at CB. With Girouds injury, we know we are short up front.

I truly hope that Wenger pulls something out of the bag, as I fear the locals will be restless if not and the toxic atmsphere is not something we want back.

i am not a big wenger fan you are right we miss out on so many targets and leaving transfers to the last minute normally cost more not less
