Such a shame that Wilshere has suffered another ankle fracture. It hightens the need for us to sign a quality defensive midfield player, as Wilshere must play in a more advanced position, where tackling is needed less and he can play 'on his feet'.
We also need a top quality striker. I have heard a strong rumour that it will be Benzema, but I am not convinced he will be a success. I would prefer a player such as Lewandowski.
We still have to clear out Flamini and Campbell. I would have let Arteta go, but that clearly isn't going to happen.
Looking forward to the start of the season....

Agree with your post. Lewandowski seems more clinical, he's just more deadly. If we have this money we talking about, we should table 45, 50mil, whatever necessary for this guy. Now that's the calibre that would definitely make us challengers. Flamini gone and Wanyama as back up for Coq, or they both play together in some games.

I think Lewandowski would be a fantastic signing for us. When he was at Dortmund he was prolific, probably a very good goals ratio . He would be my preference for a striker .
