As much I'd love wenger to stick around, he need to go if he doesn't sign Atleast one more quality signing this summer.
We clearly need new blood. Welbeck giroud Walcott won't cut it at the top level if we are serious about winning e champions league.
Chelsea, Man city, Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Psg and even atletico Madrid have the managers who are instructed to Atleast reach the semi finals of the champions league or else they call their season as a failure.
And here we are, who can't even mount a serious title challenge in our domestic competition, let alone Europe.
I know it's been difficult in the past 10 years, but now even the chairman says we have money to burn, I'm not saying spend all of it, Atleast sign one more Quality player?!
The teams who dominate in the Domestic competitions are the ones who go far in Europe, as simple as that.
Can we win Champions league with Giroud and Welbeck?!
No!
Can we win the league?!
We can mount a challenge until March but we won't win.
That's the difference folks.

{Ed025's Note - the thing about arsene is that he wont buy just for the sake of it shrikant, it has to be a player who will improve the squad and i applaud him for that mate..

Steve, you have competition in the perpetual moaning stakes 😉

{Ed025's Note - steve is still top of that league dags.. :)

At least let things actually go wrong before you start this seasons Wenger out campaign, your entitled to your opinion and its been duely noted and IF we don't make a very serious challenge this season then I think you have every right to say I told you so and call for a manager who can make us contenders.
So IF we go to Chelsea in a few weeks time and get well beaten again and are well off the pace set by the team at the top by 5pts or more feel free to start your campaign but until that time just stop and consider just for one moment what if its actually you who's got it wrong?
Let the story unfold by a few more pages before throwing the book in the bin.

Ed,

Steve is like the 70's Brazilian team....untouchable mate :-)

{Ed001's Note - you've never been on a night out with Ed025. Just don't mention the war for heaven's sake!!}

You have your opinion mate but jeez do you like to moan and have no positives about this season or the squad. As Wenger just said in his recent press conference that it's not like a supermarket were you go I'll buy this , that . Transfers are far more complicated and negotiations can get tough.

Gunner62 mate,
The summary of the bookis very embarrassing. No point in wasting your time reading a book which you've read 5-6 times already mate!.
All it says is we'll try to challenge and fall apart and at most reach the quarterfinals in champions league.
Seriously, I do support wenger, but ask yourself,
Will we win the prem league with giroud?
We Atleast need another striker to compliment him if not replace him.

More and more of my apprentices are coming on and telling it is how it is.

Gunner this is just the yearly ritual we go through at arsenal, rollercoaster of arsenal, up then down, then down and up, eventually ending just at the the top teetering.

8.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 12:29:32
I see the Sith Lord Steve has found a new apprentice. The moan is strong in this one.....

Le Coq Gabriel Cech? The 2015 edition is much better than the 2014 version and who knows might just be worth reading at least a couple of pages before condemning it to your charity shop clear out box.
Who knows you might even get gripped by it?
If the worst comes to the worst and we do win the league by a point don't get to down you can always moan about how we should have won it by a bigger margin :-)

I agree with Steve,
The same Old story will repeat this year again.
I would like wenger to quit if he doesn't sign anyone before September 1.
If transfer negotiations are that difficult then how come other clubs are signing quality players?
Now we don't even have that money excuse!!.
It's all bullshit gooners, it's now or never for us.
This is the year we must really kick on.

15 Aug 2015 13:25:22
You recon we will fall away as late as March. He's nothing like Steve that's pure optimism

12.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 13:57:15
It's a sobering thought that it might be never. Might as well start supporting spuds

Steve got me with the apprentice comment. Proper lol. He's the football Isis. Stevis

We are so much better than last year already, aside from Czech & Coq & Gabriel we have matured with Bellerin, Ox, Monreal, Chambers all high on a steep learning curve and the Germans well-rested. We have more the enough talent although would always take more but that won't be our issue. Every week we have anywhere between 11 and 7 or 8 better players per position on the pitch, should be able to win with that.
Lets start by leaving Cazorla and Coq in the middle and rotating Oz/Ramsey and Ox for stability.

Still this board could get interesting if we draw palace.

15.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 15:55:50
Totally agree Cangun and a draw at Palace wouldn't be the worst result in the world early doors, if we ain't up to speed and totally firing by the time we play Chelsea I will be very worried but I'm pretty sure it won't come to that.

16.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 16:25:38
You're all over confident gooners. I'm telling ya!.
We won't win the league with this squad.
As simple as that. But things can change before September 1.

17.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 17:39:02
A draw at palace gunner normally i would agree, brill. Not after our start though, losing 5 points in the first two games signals usual non challenging season. A win is essential, no critical.

18.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 17:54:52
This is such a tired debate, it's one bloody game into the season

19.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 18:04:27
Not over confident fella - we are supporters of AFC full stop no apologies needed for backing our squad or our manager!

20.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 19:14:45
I'm with you shrikant 100 percent. Wenger won't lift the title again iv said it for years.

I'm a Steve backer on here love that guys moaning. Keeps me reading

21.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 19:20:25
Ive got to say far to early to be jumping the gun in wenger i agree we are 1 or 2 players light at the minute a a striker and a cdm for me ide bid for berahino and i think we missed a trick in not signing shneiderlin and wijnaldum don't get me wrong in wide positions we probably have the best 4 in the epl ozil sanchez the ox and theo but i don't think anyone thought this year of the same thing that's hampered us for years INJURYS wilshere is like a time bomb as is theo what if giroud is ever out for 3 months and wellbeck we would be buggered

22.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 19:56:38
3pts would be ideal Steve but it would be naive to throw caution to the wind and turn this game into a must win match, very Monacolistic :-) its a marathon and a slow start isn't ideal but unlike 100 metres race its not totally vital.
By the end of the Chelsea game on the 19th we will have a real idea of where our season might be going, Steve you have to admit if we win at Chelsea even you would smile even if you had to put a cushion over you face to do it mate :-)

23.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 21:08:19
Gunner i love you, in a man kind of way, but you saying are things that are not real, us win at chelski, more chance of santos coming back and being a superstar. We are not going to make up a large amount of points on the likes of sheik city chelski and man u, never, more chance of bentner coming back and being our main striker. Now if id said them two things you have had me sectioned.

24.) 15 Aug 2015
15 Aug 2015 21:10:22
Plus if we win at chelski, i will never moan again and neither of them are going to happen. So i'm safe.

{Ed025's Note - you never moan again steve?...now that would be a thing to behold mate.. :)
