If we continue with 3-4-3 and we buy Mahrez surely this means we will not keep Ozil. Both players would expect to start every week and Wenger would not spend 40+ Mill on a bench player. So there would not be room for both in a 3-4-3.

I would be interested to see who would you guys prefer - Mahrez or Ozil in that role. I personally think Mahrez would thrive in that role and outperform Ozil.

{Ed025's Note - none of them melbourne, both divas who play for themselves and have personality flaws..

Probably true, ed025. All the more reason we would not want both in the team. So who, in your opinion, represents the lesser evil?

{Ed025's Note - i would say ozil mate, he goes missing and can be a bit sulky at times but mahrez is a disrupter of dressing rooms, he was one of the main instigators who forced ranieri out and is bad news imo..

Ozil for me. The problem with ozil is that he plays best with quality around him or not at all. He also missed cazorla behind him that would move the ball quickly to him and run at people, he created so much space for ozil to do his thing. For me it's simple we need to create a team round him because on his day he is one of the best if not the best at what he does. We need a striker to provide intelegent runs and we need someone who can do what cazorla can do. It would be interesting to hear ed01's opinion on this and what players are out there that do what cazorla does because I can't think of one of my head but know that ed watches and studies football far more than me.

{Ed001's Note - I agree with you, Oezil is a magnificent player, but he needs players to work with him to offer anything. He worked really well in that slot behind the striker when you switched to the 3 at the back and was excellent in the cup final, though overlooked by most.

Mahrez had a couple of good seasons, but the title went to his head and he needs dragging back down to earth. A move to a bigger club is just going to increase the overinflated ego, which is the last thing he needs.}

I honestly think ed that most of the big clubs will not look at him. If he does leave I would be very surprised if Leicester get anywhere near the fee mooted.

{Ed025's Note - with all the money thats floating about im sure someone will pay a good whack for him SLB...i just hope its not arsenal or everton mate..

Mahrez perfect for spurs imo. Best place for him the team is a unit and he can be the magic on top. Not too sure on him at arsenal like eds says. If he replaces sanchez then dear me. Vardy mahrez should of gone with kante imo. Staying didn't do anyone any good.

Where would spurs get the money to buy him? They're skint.
