I saw a post about Bielik the other day so thought I would have a look at his season for Charlton. 34 apps, 4 goals and 2 assists which isn't bad a for CB in all fairness. 13 yellow cards which is an issue but can discipline can be worked on.

His style of play:
Likes to dribble.
Likes to play short passes.
Likes to tackle.

Strengths:
Tackling.
Blocking the ball.

Weaknesses:
Discipline

A young player with a lot of confidence and enthusiasm to play football. I suggest we really think about integrating him next season before he becomes the next player to leave the club for regular football elsewhere.

If he's ready play him if he isn't don't, a manager is paid to make these decisions and how good the menageris or isn't is usually determined by how many decisions he gets right or wrong, well it is at all other clubs, maybe that's something we could introduce at Arsenal:-)
Young old or in between, expensive free transfers or promotion through the ranks is totally irrelevant to me, all I know is next seasons performances should be and 100% have to be a huge improvement on last seasons or we should be looking for a new manager.
The Bielik decision is Emerys to mak as with all others decisions and Emery should stand or fall by whatever decisions he makes just like other managers at other clubs havd to.

{Ed047's Note - Bielik was MOTM in Charlton's play off final and in Poland’s U21 opener in the U21 European Championship against Belgium which they won 3-2 and he scored.

I'm not against him being given his chance Ed047 mate, not at all but whoever Emery sends out in an Arsenal shirt next season be it be it Chaltons play off mom Bielik or Fulhams player of the season Chambers they need to deliver performances worthy of the club they represent and shirt they wear not simply repeat how the class of 2018/ 19 delivered.
Quite rightly it's Emery decision who he picks and how he plays but equally he has to take 100% responsibility for what they serve up.
I'd love to see a young Arsenal team that only concedes 30 odd goals next season and pushes for a top 4 spot whether achieved or not, that would be very exciting to watch and bode well for the future but I'm not going to be happy to see any Arsenal team young old or anything else concede another 50 plus goals next season and be told it's progress but not as we know it :-) .
Last season was Emerys foundation laying season and next season we need to see what's actually being built.

{Ed047's Note - I didn’t think you were gunner62, I was just adding to the fact he seems to be progressing well mate.

He struggled in the play off semi against my home town team, especially when they conceded, they were lucky to get through it. I think he needs more time and if he were to step up he will need a real leader next to him.

Absolutely Ed Mate and I'd be well for him being added to the first team squad if he's ready or going to Germany or another European league if he's not yet premier league ready.
I so agree with his decision to refuse to go back to playing under 23 football where no one progresses much after 18 or 19 and many many simply stagnate and drift out of the game completely when thier contract ends.
I'd have thought Nelson is worth a season in next seasons first team squad and see a lot more sense in him being on the bench than Miki who just isn't premier league suited in my opinion.

{Ed047's Note - That and Mkhitaryan is on £180,000 a week.

He, along with the other youngsters have to be given a chance. No point playing one in isolation, as you will still get the errors but not the increased energy and workrate (and fearlessness) that youngsters bring. Play a group of them together, like having the 3 musketeers, and forgive the errors but let them play. How many of us would take all the current Ajax youngsters into our squad? For all we know we might already have the same, but your never find out if they are playing at Charlton, Leipzig etc etc. We have plenty of deadwood taking up our current first X1 squad such as Elneny, so cutting them to allow these youngsters to take their place shouldn't be an issue?

Hasn’t he come out and say he wants to leave.
