I know it's the Sun but our great club sounds like a circus

"Unai Emery and Arsenal have offered Palace unwanted trio Mohamed Elneny, Carl Jenkinson and Calum Chambers, plus £40m, for Zaha"

Does any other club try to trade 3 players plus cash to buy one

🤡s.

So we offered £40 million and a pound again? We never learn!

The clue is the opening line SY mate, people only quote that scandlesheet only when they wish to believe the rubbish it prints.
The metro maybe a comic but that horrible ragg you mentionin along with the mail and express ouse poison at evety opportunity.

We are being dragged through the more as a club and to be fair - the above wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

You've got to admit we are easy pickings for the scandlesheets right now and every negative story is being picked up on by fans who are not happy being relayed as if they were facts when in truth we all know the vast majority of them will be complete fabrication.
Last season I was extremely disappointed with how we performed and in truth I'm not expecting much different this season but I'm open to being pleasantly surprised.
The summer is where all clubs get a opportunity to really change things and that opportunity is there for all until August the 8th.
Emery has only failed for one season and next season we will see what he learned in his first season that in reality was pretty horrible for the most part.
If he hasn't learned then we should all feel free to state what we see but in my opinion none of us can judge his second season until it's actually Underway.
The British media will always put the boot in to anything and anyone it thinks is already wounded, it's what they do.

SY4, seems you, and many others here, are choosing to believe it's mud, and choosing to believe who's dragging us through it? This is all opinion, which is fine of course, but why concentrate on the negative information so much? Everything is spun to reflect our clubs utter incompetence, and our inevitable decent into mediocrity. Why is it more engaging to believe that, when the truth is we don't have a clue what's going on with the money and the transfers, and the long term policy?

We're a club transferring from a regime under Wenger that lasted decades, and we haven't hit the ground running. Big surprise! Try and keep a little faith, it'll make it more fun surely?

Totally agree Ned, very well put mate.
By all means criticise Emery and the club for what you actually see is wrong with your own two eyes but to simply chose to believe parts of the media that are renowned for speeding rubbish and hatred at every opportunity is simply choosing to be negative when the reality is everything is still open to going either way this summer.
If we go into next season no stronger than we were last season and our performances are as equally inept then people will have every reason to be upset but to let the British presses fairytales dictate your opinions and happiness levels is ridiculous given their love of poisonioning people's minds and creating upset and unhappiness at evety opportunity.
