With reports of a deal for Tierney getting close, which of our two current left backs will be sacrificed? Clearly neither Kolasinac nor Monreal are good enough. Kolasinac can't defend and Monreal's lack of pace has become more acute as he has aged. Monreal's deal was recently extended until June 2020, and he can provide an option at CB. Whilst Kolasinac could be played further forward on the left side of midfield. With transfer funds limited, perhaps both will be kept for the forthcoming season, unless an offer is received for either player.

Let's hope it's true, unfortunately so far it's only the usual suspects reporting it.
But based on nothing more than a gut feeling I think both Zaha and Tierney will happen.

He ticks all our boxes and is already injured - the perfect signing and start

“He had a double hernia and he still has the Osteitis pubis problem so it’s a slow burner that one. ”

With Rambo and Danny gone the injury table was getting cold and lonely - problem solved 😉.

G62 - I too think Tierney will happen, whilst I would love us to sign Saha, I can't see it happening. More likely seems the latest rumour that we are after Everton Soares. With Edu we have a Brazillian connection that can help in the negotiations to sign this excellent winger.

Kim Kelstrom has the be the strangest signing ever SY :-) a January loan signing who was already out with a long term back injury?
We were top of the league and just lost Ramsey half way through his wonder season, Oliver Giroud was our only Striker and was visibly struggling with the demands of being a solo non stop workhorse up top, we were top but obviously needed reinforcements to see the job through, every fan every pundit was saying how we had to replace the injured Ramsey and the exhausted Giroud that January if we wanted to be champions.
Arsene responded to people's demands with Kim Kelstrom:-)
In the end we pipped Everton to 4th spot after slinging from 1st to 5th from January to March.
Yup we do have previous for signing injured players but none quite like Arsene and Kim :-)
