According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich want Joe Willock. Surely we cannot entertain that? Stick a big fee on him then maybe if the player decides that he really wants the move, then £45-50m perhaps haha.

Very much depends on the length and terms of his contract.

The reason we can't shift any of our players we'd like to shift is because we pay them more than anyone else will pay them, we have to be careful about the contracts we dish out to unproven players.
It's a difficult balancing act but we have to be better at it.
We might not be footballs highest payers but we're almost certainly footballs highest over payers which is why we can't move players on with or without a fee involved.
Very very few of our players if any could earn more elsewhere and I think we need to be more wise in future by paying the going rate for players who really want to be here rather than trying to buy loyalty through over payments.

This was a part of Wengers philosophy and strategy. Everyone is valuable to the club and more equal pay would create less envy. But then they forgot that Elneny, Chambers and Jenkinson really wasn’t that good players.

From what I have read this strategy is out of the window now. But we cannot do anything with the contracts already in place. So we need to hold our breath and be patient change will come over the years.

Thank god we don’t have Woodward as director. From my perspective we want go through what Man United went through.
