Aubameyang red card and three games out will give us an idea of who MA has confidence in albeit rotation of injuries to.

Its going to be a big oppurtunity for Martinelli and I bet he takes it by the horns.

Being without Aubameyang for 3 matches will be tough. Of course Lacazette will continue up top and we have cover in exceptional youngster Martinelli, who can play centrally and wide. Saka can come in on the left as well. Should we now keep Nketiah at the club, opposed to loaning him out? With long term injuries to Chambers and Tierney, a 3 match ban for PEA and possibly a few matches off injured for Torreira, our squad will be stretched. I hope we bring in a player or two during the window, but it’s not a simple task during this window and finances seem limited, although the same was said last summer!

Auba is a quality player but all teams have to play without their best players at times and although it's a disappointment it's also a fantastic opportunity to see how Lacasette and Martinelli partnership works out, I would definitely keep Eddie as I think working with Mikel on the training ground for the next 5 months even if he doesn't play much will do him a lot of good.
