Just watched MOTD - top 10 strikers.

We've had some quality strikers in epl.

Can you imaging Shearer and Henry as a front two?

So, from the history of epl, who would be your:

Central Defenders = (2)
Central Midfield = (2)
Strikers - (2)

Assuming a 4 4 2.

They may not be the best two but the best pair as a unit.

& why.

Kompany and Campbell - beasts
Gerrard and Vieira - pace, power, energy, fear factor, big game players.
Shearer and Henry - Beauty and the beast. Creativity, assists and goal scoring.

I couldn't leave Denis out so would have to Bergkamp and either Shearer or Henry for me
Makelele and Kante would be some force
Kompany and Vvd would be a difficult pair to better in my opinion.

Cole, giggs, Gerrard, keane, ginola, Henry, shearar, SUBS 1 FROM Each seaman, Campbell, lampard, Kane, the reason for 2 spurs players ginola was player of the year twice and that's including when utd won the treble shows how good he was and I believe if kane stays in the premier league he will go close to beating Alan shearar record.
