For me this has been the hardest position to pick our best player.

We have been blessed with some very talented number 3's.

The list goes from mcnab all the way up to Cole.

I have thought long and hard and I can only come up with one name, who was loyal, hardworking and gave 110% every time he took the field.

I'm going to give it to Nigel Winterburn.

Ashley Cole by a country mile for me mate, Sammy Nigel Kenny Sansom were all fantastic for us but Ashley was class above not just in terms of Arsenal left bacjs but of his generation of premier league left backs in my opinion, I know for some it's difficult to let go of personal grudges towards Ashley to able to include him but in the real world the lad was unbelievably good.

Nigel was very special and loyal but not sure he’s technically our best ever left back

Cole helped change Chelsea to big time winners and won loads there also.
