Is it just me or would you give mustafi another year?

I thought he improved quite a lot under Arteta.

I think he's out of contract this summer mate so might want more than a 1 year deal to stay when he could potentially negotiate a really good deal somewhere else as free agent.
He has shown signs of improving under Arteta but I'm not sure enough to be offered more than 1 year deal right now.

I don't mind keeping Mustafi, but we need to move some CB's. I think they are all capable but need a more stable midfield in front of them. A strong Def mid is needed, as it has been for many years now.

Agree Davy a natural DM with a real appreciation for stopping goal scoring chances happening has been missing for years, although alongside Caz Le Coq was doing a very good impression of one.

It’s criminal to have Torreira, Matteo and Granite as the spine of our midfield protecting a back 4 with a less that great pair of centrebacks - we can’t start with Mustafi, Luiz or Papa as centre backs plus we need to change that midfield 3.
