2 things I've heard lately take them as you like :)

Secondly we are looking at signing joe Hart on a free. Not a big fan but then makes sense with lenos injury plus and no transfer fee.

Keepers seem to go from hero to complete zero far quicker than outfield players and I've never really understood why myself.
Scott Carson was tipped first greatness but one mistake for England as his career went into fee fall
Rob Green went from 1st choice for England to no one wanting him as thier number one.
Fabian Bartez was another
Can Joe Hart really have lost all his ability so quickly or is it just his confidence he's lost.
Special two made a really good point on Luis on the rumours page in his reply to a post.

Fair enough Ed001 mate I didn't know about his personal failings but still Scott Carson and other keepers quickly slipped down the ranks after a high profile mistake which is something that doesn't seem to happen to outfield players.

{Ed001's Note - Scott Carson got a series of injuries. Rob Green made numerous errors before slipping. What you are saying is simply not true. Luiz and Lovren show that defenders get exactly the same treatment if they make errors, it just depends on whether the media like them or not.}

I daren’f say it - hope we go nowhere near Hart. We have a decent back up. If we were to upgrade, it should be Leno but we don’t have the balls or the money or attractiveness to upgrade and as long as we have a porous useless defence then we need a shot stopper which in Leno. Vicious circle really as we need to upgrade defence, keeper and CDM. if only we could spend 72m on a few positions we really need.
