What do you believe the likelyhood is (however slim) of Arsenal signing both Partey and Aouar this window?

Would be sensational to have a midfield three of the above mentioned and Ceballos but even in my optimistic state I can’t imagine it possible.

If we could only sign one of Partey/Aouar, who would you guys sign?

For me - Its either adding silk or spine to your team. Buying only one doesn't improve us majorly. Both would allow us to successfully play a back 4 and be able to defend it.

Realistically slim but a possibility subject to player sales. Aouar would be a fantastic signing but for me Partey is the signing we have to secure as a priority. He would bring balance and solidarity in to the midfield that we so badly lack and it will also allow DC and EMS to play more advanced behind the front 3.

If we can sell 100m worth of players then maybe but I doubt it very much. I would rather us sell 100m worth, buy Partey and leave it there. Arsenal need to the money.

Guendozi and Torreira will possibly bring in 50 million Glen so we're half way there unless we have to settle for loaning rather than selling them both, that would be a problem.

Sadly, I don’t think we could raise 100m even if we shipped out our entire squad. Our two best assets are Aubameyang and Lacca. The first has just a year left on his contract, so we won’t get the best offers, and the second has been generally dropped instead of Eddie, not exactly putting us in a strong bargaining position. As for the rest, Mustaphi, Chambers, Torreira, Guendozi etc, I don’t see us getting anything for them. Reality has finally reached the premiership, and by paying players a salary which is substantially higher than virtually any other club in Europe can afford, especially now, means there are no takers. Either each player will need to take a major pay cut to leave, or we will have to accept next to no transfer fee ( or most likely it’s both) . There is now a glut of squad players across Europe that teams would love to shift off their books. I only hope our management have realised this before it’s too late.

That's true Gunner but it's looking likely that those 2 will be loaned with buying options at the end of the season. I think it could well be Bellerin and Laca who bring in the bulk of the funds, whilst loan fees for Torreira, Guendouzi and a possible sale of Balogun make up the rest. If the possible loans for Torreira and Guendouzi become permanent then that will certainly help for the next summer window but we'll see. Guendouzi thinks he's at Messi's level so whether he'll accept a transfer to Valencia, Villarreal is yet to be seen.

It's certainly a buyers market as alomst every club in the world tries to trim thier wage bill Epping mate, without a doubt there will be some absolute bargains picked up by the shrewd savy shoppers.
I'm not sure how it's all going to work out Glen mate but it's certainly not a time to try and play hardball on selling prices if you want to do business and end up going into the season with players you don't won't and who don't want to be here either.
Undoubtedly it's going to be easier to spend than it is raise money for the foreseeable future mate.
