Personally I think we should sack arteta, we are awful this year how many of our player will want to stick around and play for us, if we give him another year and more money and it cocks up that is is done we will never come back from that, I personally think we are done now and will never be the club we once were.

disagree if he gets a few more of his own players in then judge him who has he signed? partey apart from no pre season no winter break ( that he is used to and injuries) he has done okay, gabriel apart from getting C.V. has been good sourse has been decent cover, this is the 1st season teams are playing 2 games a week every week he has got rid of bad attitudes now he needs to get rid of bad performers if we had a striker who can consistently put the ball in the net and we had a number ten for the 1st half of the season we would be in a completely different position, and you can't say we have not been on the wrong end of some shocking decisions during this season with var . he need to add abot 3 more of his palyers to the squad before we can say he needs to go.

To be fair our best form coinsided with Gabriel and Party being out of the side plus the introduction of ERS!

I miss the old analogy days G62 not these Stat days! For whatever reason the stats say I refuse to believe Gabriel and Partey are to blame for poor form or great form due to their absence. The whole season has been erratic and not just for us . Having said that I`ve been MA in all season but the fact that some players seem to have downed tools ( disgraceful by the way ) usually means curtains for the manager. Still can`t help but get excited ( not in a Callum sort of way ) about Tierney Saka ESR Gabriel Saliba Partey Martinelli Leno ish plus hopefully Oedegaard / Aouar just need the experienced guys Auba Laca Bellerin to seriously up their attitude and game. We have a top four team/ squad and a flip of a coin whether it`s MA in charge. Personally think it`s either MA or Auba / Laca / Pepe to leave and Balogun probably staying hints towards MA staying COYG.

I don’t think Arteta has helped himself by changing the team so often. Yes you need a squad and to rest players in less important games but surely every manager knows what their best XI is quite quickly? With Arteta I am still not sure he does?

Hi Sussex mate, yes I miss my old analogy self too mate :-) which seems strange I know.
I am just going through a yet another phase much like those I went through a 5 13 20 30 years of age and hopefully I will go through many more yet at 60 70 80 and who knows 😎
At the moment i am going through my separating facts from thoughts phase which seems to be working really well for my mental health (fingers eyes ears toes and everything crossed 😎) which I guess explains why I've suddenly started using stats more, although I totally accept stats are far from a perfect science.

I'm a work in progress mate and at the moment i am a work in processes that overthinks, worries and stresses a lot lot less than when I wasn't doing so good and was constantly trying to think my way out of mental sickness that was brought about by Overthinking in the first place 😎 crazy I know but hey ho it's all part of the human experience 🤗.

I absolutely share your passion and excitement about ERS Martinelli Balogun Teirny Saka and Co and I definitely see plenty of reasons things could soon start to be worth getting excited about again but I personally can't see Arteta leading us there but who knows maybe he will and my opinion will prove to be as reliable as my Lottery winning skills 😎

If I've learned anything over the past year it's to (know what I don't know) and I'm a lot happier more relaxed and very stranglely much wiser for it 😀😁😂 who knew 👤.

Arteta should have been sacked during our extended bad run around December but now that he is still in the job, he should be dismissed if he fails to win the Europa. Time we have standards at this club. Arteta has a squad good enough to be in the top 6-7 but he is languishing in the 11th place.

What are his excuses? He had most of the squad available during the season. There are no extenuating circumstances that explain this woeful season.

If he was to be given time based on the fact that he is a young manager learning on the job, he should have looked to the future by signing young players not the likes of willian, cedric etc. He gambled on the present and failed and with severe financial consequences for the club by straddling the club with old players on huge contracts. For that he needs to pay back the club with immediate results. If he can't, he should be shown the door.

Even if we should lose today and Thursday there would be no point in sacking Arteta before the end of the season, realistically we are neither going down or going to finish in a EL qualification place with Arteta or anyone else this season.
Sacking Arteta before game 38 would be pointless because this season is all but done and dusted should we go out on Thursday and it's pretty much a case of simply fulfilling our fixtures.
Next season is where it's at and we need to do all we can to give ourselves the very best opportunity on going into next season with renewed hope and excitement, that is going to be a very difficult thing for Mikel to get the majority of players and fans to able to achieve under his leadership now!
It's been a long time since I can remember a manager turning things around from where Mikel is right now.
