Seems like Buendia is heading to AV. Hopefully we will try our luck with Fekir, Brandt or Aouar. Willock, ESR and a decent CAM addition would be great for next season.

That's embarrassing if we can't compete with Villa for transfers!
Mid table again next year.

He tweeted about an hour ago Sally saying that the deal basically done. Ornstein had said as much as well. 35m plus add ons, medial done and will be completed in the next few hours.

Judge the guys at the end of the window. If they feel 40m is too much (which I agree with) perhaps they have other targets in mind.

I think I did mentioned sometime back that Aston Villa have been net spending more than us for at least the last two seasons. So, especially if they will be selling Grealish that makes it even easier for them this window. They might not need to strengthen anywhere else while he possibly looking at 5 different positions and likely depending on selling to buy as we intended to do. Nevertheless it’s damning indication of where we here. Forget a 2/ 3 year plan it could be 5 for us now and the elite managers, as clearly we are not ready to compete.

100% agree with that D, wait for the window to closes before smashing your favourite Arsenal mug and telling your 5 year old Christmas is cancelled.

G62, do you really trust our management that much? They're a bunch of clowns.

Hi Glen no I don't trust them at all but I accept they are there and Arteta and the regime he represents are extremely unlikely to be replaced this summer.

I am content to wait until the summer window closes and assess the window as a whole rather than react to evey high and low as it happens and I am also happy to let next season unfold as it will on the pitch too, where either Arteta and his bosses will be fully exposed as inadequate and incapable or Justified and celebrated as their action and decisions pay dividends where it matters most, on the pitch and in the table.

I am convinced next season will be a very positive season for The Arsenal and will lead to much better times ahead, I am just not sure if it be with or without Arteta and current setup he represents or it will come in the shape of a huge change away from the pitch, but as long as it's good for The Arsenal and makes us all happy I don't much care what wrapping it comes in or who delivers it to us 😀😄😂,

UP The Arsenal🖒🖒 🖒.
