I doubt anyone would be surprised if Mikel went during the international break Ed014 mate, but I can't see how he could survive a failure to beat Norwich at the Emirates mate, a loss or even a draw in that game and the atmosphere would be very hostile and I think even Mikel might want to call it a day once the fans in the stadium are lost.

{Ed014's Note - he certainly needs to, can’t imagine any fans have any confidence in him.

Defo 62,he surely could not survive a home lost to Norwich. Personally I would like the managerial change to come during the 2 week break, but I think he has got to the Norwich game.

Some fans will back Arteta into the championship if necessary Ed014 mate, he's ex Arsenal and for some that is bond that demands loyalty no matter what happens, be it championship, league 1,league 2 or national league if it comes to it.

{Ed014's Note - don’t see that myself 62, he has zero in the bank just happened to play for us for a while.

Never achieved anything of note when he did either.

I know it's irrational Ed014 mate but there are fans who just can't see through the Arsenal through and through bond, if Parlor came out of retirement tomorrow they would argue he'd be good in the changing room and could help talk the youngsters through the game on the pitch :-)

{Ed014's Note - totally irrational mate, we avoided Viera and Henry who had managed but decided Arteta would be fine.

The reality is none of our ex players are up to the job.

Make the decision and pay the money for a quality replacement and get rid of Edu and Venkatesham at the same time.

I liked Arteta as a player to be fair. I also hope he has a successful career as I have nothing against the guy.

It’s shocking that we have a manager who has never managed before and also Edu. I’d quite like a clear out of the 3 like you state Ed.

I’d like Freddie back as a number 2 as I liked his relationship with the players and his history of success with the club. I think he talks sense also.

It will be so frustrating though that we fire him after 3 games and after the investment we’ve made in the club plus players we’ve sold it loaned out. He should have gone over a year ago.

We need a strong manager who is happy to take on the squad and play to its strengths as I’m not giving the person too much time or excuses that they aren’t his players. Take a leaf out of Chelsea’s management book and get back to being a strong well run club. The squad is not that bad and with a few tweaks we could be back in the game.

Changing Arteta is a must today before tomorrow. I don't see him turning anything around this season.
How can we believe in his process when we are witnessing the worst tactics, decisions and form in our history.
I don't see him calling Saliba back next season either as I feel their relation ship is well broken and beyond fixing. He can't and unwilling to deal with player egos.
He can't motivate the team and he sticking to something obviously not working.

I remember signing arteta as we failed to sign mata who was should have been replacement for fabregas. Wenger at the time kept playing Arteta even though he was never good enough and nobody could understand why we stuck with him. At the time it was suggested he was being lined up as a replacement for Wenger. He was very good at motivating players. He went to Mancity and we heard from everyone how he had lots of potential. Unfortunately for us while he was still learning the trade ho got one of the biggest jobs in the Premier league rebuilding arsenal. If we as fans can see that he was not ready for the job then the people that hired him need to be held responsible. We have spend stupid money on players nobody wanted and completely wrong for us. We need to ask who is responsible for signing these players and hold them responsible. To me it starts from the top the owners need to sell up, edu needs to go kia needs to go. Arteta needs to go he is not right for the job. I never expected us to get any points against Mancity or Chelsea. Seeing as we are a broken team with all these new players coming in. We need someone who can quickly get the team to gell together and play as one. I just hope we get the change we need before we get relegated because that's where we are heading. We can't just get rid of arteta because he is a svery small part of what's wrong. Unless we get rid of edu and kia and bring in a manager that has the ability to get us playing as a unit. Unfortunately I don't see it happening until its too late. Hoping for a miracle.
