For me it’s simple: lose tonight and it’s another season of same-old same-old. No real progress from Mikel, just able to prep us as flat track bullies.
A draw; just about acceptable depending on the actual performance.
A win, and it might show we have made some real progress away from the last few seasons of gradual decline.

Oh, and I am not anti PEA per se, but play Lacazette and/ or Martinelli from the start instead, please.

For me realistically a draw tonight away to ManU would be a good result. I won't judge our team if they lose a couple of points up against their front line this year :)

I'm making no predictions about tonight's game but merely pointing out that as much as we have all REALLY enjoyed Uniteds recent hugely embarrassing run, unfortunately they are not as bad as those performances suggest, someone is going to cop a comeback good hiding from them before long, I just really hope it isn't us us tonight.

I'd love to see us extend their embarrassing run with a really big win tonight, I just fear the opposite could possibly happen.
