I don't see arsenal buying a striker until the summer even if Auba goes as we have a few that can play there.

I actually hope we don't Stevie, I'd like to see us give an opportunity to those we already have at the club to see if they can follow ERS Saka and Martinelli lead.

These young players have set the standard that all must equal if we are going to get back to our best again.

If we buy anyone I'd like us to buy 2 premier league proven players to form a middle two that I feel we lack so badly.

The defence looks OK but would look even better with more solid protection in front of them and our attack is also in good shape but would only be stronger if backed up by a reliable pairing in the middle.

Agree with 62 there, would love to see Balogun get a run and also would like Azeez, to come back from loan and b e given a chance.

I do think regardless we will need another cf. I reckon balogun will leave on loan so he can have 90mins each week under his belt and really compete next season. That leaves us nketiah who I'd rather not play it he's set on leaving. Lacazette who I can't see getting us enough goals. And auba who might come back and hit his form but it's unlikely.

The thing is would Eddie be set on leaving if he got a chance D16 mate?
I'm not saying he is good enough, in fact I don't think he is but I'd like to know for sure before parting with him, Eddie and Balogun competing might have a future while obviously Laca and Auba don't.

To me Laca Auba and Pepe will all be ex Arsenal come summer and by trying 2 young guns between now and then we will know if we need to spend to replace those who leave or we already have what we need.

Id love Declan Rice or Kalvin phillips to come in alongside Partey G62 and then buy a proper no9 someone in the mold of Giroud, but abit pacier ? wouldn’t mind DCL from Everton, although injuries maybe an issue.

Very true 62 perhaps he would stay. If I'm honest I've not seen anything to indicate he will be a decent cf. Perhaps I could be wrong who knows but I'm not keen at all to give him game time to prove himself when we are desperate for points.

I'm actually with you D mate I don't think Eddie is the answer but I absolutely know neither of Laca or Auba, I don't think we necessarily have less chance of points with the two young players than we do the 2 older way past their best players mate, of course I could be wrong too.

I'd absolutely love Rice and Philips 93 mate, now that would be an incredible delectation of intent to get those two, put them in with our defenders and attacking players and I think we'd have a real team mate.

I would love a CF who bullies the defence as well as can score. I think Chelsea made a great purchase bringing Lukaku back. He has that perfect balance between scoring and physicality and I think that is exactly what we need. A forward happy to face his own goal, and hold off defenders, but also one that has the pace run onto through balls when they happen, and one who adds to our threat on corners. Watching Balogun in the England u21 games, he is promising, but nowhere near good enough to play for us at the moment, he definitely needs a loan spell to bring him up to speed.
