Im really liking the way Edu is coming across in his interviews. Could be full of bulls***, and a yes man, but, think he's being upfront and honest. I like the openness. However, proof always in the pudding. But, looking/ feeling positive.
We've made 5 signings, but I'd say 6, as Saliba coming back is as good as a marquee signing ?.

I read the full interview on The Athletic. I agree with almost everything he said.

I was intrigued as he mentioned that the plan was to get seriously competitive and return to Champions league in 2022/ 2023 season. Which is now.

That kind of puts the pressure on all of them (Edu, Arteta) to deliver this season and I like that honesty.

In the past Ed002 you've mentioned the structure at the club being a mess. Do you think things have improved? Our transfer strategy seems better than it was a few years ago.

Not sure if it was the same interview that you read but saw one he gave with S*nSport which was very candid and I thought he came across very well. Not scared to ruffle a few feathers, knowing the clubs attitude was rotten to the core and needed a big shake up. You certainly can see the improvement and the 'vision'. Here's to more good things to come.
