Afternoon all eds and fellow gunners. hope alls well for each and everyone of you. i just wanted to say. i'm realy looking forward to friday nights game against the palace. A friend of mine tryed to get my 10yr old son and myself tickets. was unable to on this occasion. (Gutted) . but hey, life goes on. I am very pleased that even any of us that can't be there can still see it live on the t. v. i know palace away is no gimme. but i'm more confident going into this season than the last one. arteta is shaping the squad he wants. and it was allways going to take a bit of time. But hopefully once he gets rid of the last few players that should be gone and fingers crossed, gets a couple more through the door we could start to see our arsenal back where would all love to be, fighting for the top honours again. i know some gooners that get a bit peed off from time to time with trusting the process. but I've allways believed that trusting the process was going to take time and belief. we have a great young squad coming together. there will still be bumps on the road from time to time but these little bumps help us learn and help us grow. & the thing i like about arteta and the coaching set up is they seem clear and honest with what they want and how they expect to bring our great club back to being great again. they haven't got time for p. takers. (Ozil and auba are two examples) got mega contracts and neither of them were the same after and started playing up which creates bad harmony. and as evey one knows the motto of our great club is victory through harmony. anyway enough of me rambling on. i will enjoy taking my son for a nice bike ride on friday afternoon. back in time for him and myself to relax on the couch and watch the arsenal take on the palace. And fingers crossed we can get off to a great start. i'm going 3-2 arsenal. Coyg. peace and ❤ p. s just for fun would be interested in anyone else's score predictions.

I think we are all really exited to see what the team can produce on Friday Bergkamp mate, I really hope each and everyone of us are left totally buzzing and full of optimism after the game as that will mean not only will have won but looked really good while achieving the win.

As you say Palace are no mugs and if we are able to achieve what we all hope it's shouldn't be under estimated, I'm not making any predictions as I respect the size of the challenge to much for that but as said I really hope for a wonderful start to our season that has us all full of excitement all over the weekend.

Well said g62.& i totally respect the no score forecast. I sometimes wonder straight after doing a forecast, if its the right thing to do. don't want to jinx anything and all that. But it just got the better of me today, now my legs have gone all bruce grobbelar on me. Ha ha. take care be lucky buddy. and COYG.

Hi Bergkamp nothing wrong with predictions mate, I personally just try very hard not to do them in football or any other part of any life anymore.

I know longer dream of winning the lottery each and every Saturday night but equally I no longer have to check in my wardrobe and under my bed to make sure there isn't a mad axeman hiding before I dare go sleep each night ?????.
