Not too shabby at all mate, obviously we were all hoping for 3pts today but hiccups, twists and turns are all part and parcel of any and all title challenging teams season.

Come on Mal - we would expect 6 from those home games if we are to win the league and you would hope to get at least a point from Villa. Yes that’s 7 but not winning at home and a stupid red from Rice is crazy. Look at City’s first 3 fixtures, harder than ours and they have 9 points. That’s the bar not 7 / 9 points mate. That attitude will get us 2nd or 3rd. We must win our home games - all of them.
Boys fought well and ended up with a key point but in terms of looking at the result as a home game against a lesser team. Disappointing and can't accept that 7 / 9 is a good result. It’s undone the good 3 points win at Villa.
Sorry to sound like a grumpy old man - there’s zero chance before the game that you’d say a draw was good. Is it so wrong to be disappointed and how can we have a winning mentality if we keep looking for the “positive. ” I don’t think we’ve woken up yet this season.
Great you guys see the positive and get so much buzz / enjoyment. Probably need to take a leaf from your book and enjoy the journey a bit more. I’m so focused on winning the league that it’s hard to take any positive from yesterday plus thought we were lucky against Villa and not dominant enough against Wolves especially when you look at City….

No need to apologise mate
It’s all about opinions
It don’t mater how you make up the 7 points as long as you do
I thought we was magnificent when we was down to ten men.

Tbh Mal, Brighton never troubled us until the second half. They gave MOTM to the Brighton goalscorer but I thought Raya was magnificent.

Hi Bill I think we were looking good for 3pts up until we went down to 10 men, but these things do happen over a season. 7/ 9 points available, 5 goals scored and just 1 goal conceded in 3 games.
We have soooo much more to be happy about and pleased with than we genuinely we have to be unhappy about and dissatisfied with in my opinion ?.

I really want this to be our season. I watched the game yesterday and watching the fans get behind the team was amazing. The team is getting started 7 points not bad could have been 9 or 6. I did notice a lack of fluency yesterda and frustration from Rice on a few occassions. I hope we learn from this. Short break team building exercises needed. We really do need to bring silver in the season otherwise i can see the owners giving up on arteta. They have provided investment and time into the project and another season of no silver may start bringing the doubter in.

Evening - what do you want from this season?
Facts - we’ve had 2 home games ( easy ) and 1 away game.
Liverpool and City - difficult away game (s) but both 2 away and 1 home. City have Haaland on fire.
We have an extra away game to play and 2 points behind after just 3 games. Defence has looked more shaky and no striker in site.
It’s only 3 games but if you want to win the league, you don’t accept 1 point at home against a second tier team. It may happen but why say we are good? The other games could have gone either way.
City are flying - hence I ask what do you want from the season. Me EPL title hence 7 / 9 from two easy ish home games and a lucky away win is nowhere near good enough.
We need to get our act together and that should have started in the window that just closed.
I’m not happy with the start and Arteta needs to address asap as both City and Liverpool are out the gates with a home game on us and 2 points. Yes it’s a marathon but winners set the pace
Sorry - struggling with our start and can only imagine it’s because you are ok not winning league and its “early days”
Doesn’t make me an Arteta hater or not a real fan or not enjoying football but I enjoy winning and after last two seasons of not being good enough. We need to change to win or evolve.
Enjoy your evening and no I’m not stressed. This is how I manage my life and i'm fine with that. I want to be the best and if I’m below par - I give myself a nudge. That’s healthy. Our greatest players had that attitude so why not hold these guys wearing the Cannon and on ridiculous wages to that standard. Paddy, DB10, Pires, Tony - would not accept it.
{Ed014's Note - I’m really at a loss with your thought process SY, I doubt no matter how hard you look that you’ll find a single member of staff at Arsenal that now doesn’t want to win or thinks 2nd place is enough.
We’ve made huge strides and improved the squad beyond recognition and despite your negative thoughts are in a fight on all fronts.
I’m not going to comment any further but when I read your posts I genuinely think WOW!
Enjoy the season and take care mate.

Thanks 14 - I hope you have a great week.
I will enjoy the season and really want us to win mate. My only point is look at City - they are a machine and it will require close to perfection to beat them. So the margins are tiny.
Sorry if I shock you but if we are to win then that requires a different level.
Anyway - enjoy your week and thank you for the reply.

You're being a bit unfair by saying it was an easy home game we should have won.
Brighton are a very good team anyway, but we were winning and pretty comfortable, until a very harsh decision changed the game, then, it's not a normal game and anything but easy, whether it's home or away, from that position a point was a good result.
