Alright Lads - Liverpool fan in peace here.

Did any of you watch the ITV news, the piece about football fans chanting about previous football disasters?

If you did - did you find it a bit off?

Firstly I was at the game last Sunday, and I will take my hat off you Arsenal away fans, you were absolute class, humanity first football second and I thank you for that. X

Secondly my brother lives in Stoke Newington and drinks in a pub called the Shakespeare ( big Arsenal pub apparently? ) and everyone observed it in there too - that's unbelievable

However, ITV just did a piece on nasty football chants, showed Arsenal observing the Hillsborough anniversary, but then went straight to iPhone footage of Leeds fans singing "always the victim, never your fault" as if it was the Arsenal fans on Sunday - I thought it was an utter disgrace as if to put you lads in bad light. Just curious if you lads seen it?

I'm a scouser born and bred but working in Glasgow just now so not sure if the news is regional?

Anyways, genuinely hope you win the title this year. I think it's refreshing to see a young manager get given the chance to flourish in light of that knuckle dragging yank in West London thinking he can just turn up and buy want he wants, makes me sick.

Football belongs to the working class, and without the the working class - football is nothing. Doesn't matter we're your from.

Good luck for the title lads - genuinely mean that.

All the best

Hi K 65 mate, if a 5 year old child returned home from school singing a song about a terrible tragedy that had taken place and been all over the news virtually every parent in the country would horrified and talk to their child in an attempt to help them understand how insensitive and unkind the song they were singing was and how their singing the song was not a very clever or nice way to behave and what they were doing was actually quite a silly thing to do

Yet some of those same parents who would be so disappointed in their 5 year old, think absolutely nothing of going onto the terraces and singing vile songs about tragedies themselves and justify it to themselves by calling it banter.

Expecting your 5 year old to be more rational, compassionate and respectful than yourself surely defies logic and reason but thousands of adults seem to do it, madness.
