The manager has let the players down twice this season against Liverpool and City by setting them up to negatively and tonight the players let the manager down with that performance.

Let's hope that paticular sequence ends here tonight in a 2 1 defeat for Arteta. That was awful but the result makes it quickly forgivable.

Hi g62,hope all is well,100% agree. very very poor performance. think it was one of those overly confident of the result before kick off due to opposition (wolves) . I remember years ago watching us lining up in the tunnel v hull city. (Phil brown) was their manager at the time. our players were F-ing about laughing and joking, adebayor was doing some stupid little dance. thinking they had won the game before a ball was even kicked… the hull players were fully focused each and everyone of them, I said to my pal at the time were getting turned over by this lot.

he said they ain’t nowhere near good enough to bet us at the emirates. 90 minutes later they did just that, mugged us for all 3 points. and the moral to that story is never underestimate anybody…because you could always end up with egg on your face. tonight we were lucky, we fell in shyte and came up smelling of roses. as we all know the premier league is unforgiving. maximum effort and maximum desire are the first two musts to even think about heading in to each game…. Lucky ARSENAL tonight…2-1✔️ job done (just about) . still ?? one game at a time…COYG/VTH?⚪️❤️.

G62 was talking in terms of manager and the team letting each other down, Arteta did it twice to the team and the team once with this poor performance.
In terms of performance, our levels have dropped in the last few weeks, whether that is due to the amount of high pressure games coming thick and fast or the injuries or just the overall pressure, we need to find a way out and get back to the consistency we need.

Defensively, we are conceding in ways that we shouldn’t. We should also strive to get all players back to fitness and ensure that they stay fit for the rest of the season. By the time we play city away, we should have a 5 points cushion or it may get very difficult, I hope palace gets points off city today.

Hi Highbury yes that's exactly what I was trying to say mate, but I obviously didn't put it across very well, thanks for explaining it in a better way for me mate, much appreciated ?.

Overall I think both the team and manager are both having an excellent season even though i still don't think we've found top gear yet which is probably down to the injuries we've had all season.

We got mega lucky to get 3 points last night in a game which should have been the least difficult of the season for us so far. Having to rely on two own goals to get us anything from a game against a side that is buttom of the league and without a win all season tells its own story.

It was simply a very bad day at the office and will hopefully act as a huge wake up call to everyone that we will have to earn anything we get from every team we play this season and just how easily all the all the hard work put in by everyone can end up meaning nothing.

Hi Gabi mate, it was extremely difficult to see anything but a very conformable Arsenal win before last night's game Wolves fans feared the worst Arsenal and neutral fans alike hoped for a goal fest. I always try not to take any game for granted but despite my best efforts i couldn't see anything but a routine 3pts before the game given it was a top v bottom game against a team that is o n course to record the lowest points total ever inthe Premier league .

It was a very poor night from us mate but very very luckily we got away with it by the skin of our teeth and hopefully more good than harm will come from it in the long run.
