He seemed to totally lack exactly that at Swansea ed, got called up for England then seemed like he couldn't be bothered.

He did start playing well ed but after the call up instead of getting his head down and working harder he seemed to do the opposite, almost like he could rest on his laurels.

Maybe the change will do him good, that Wijnaldum for the money though in comparison does seem a good buy for Newcastle.

On another note, I went for a job interview yesterday and the guy who interviewed me is a Spuds fan. Should I accept the job, knowing I will have weeks of fun ridiculing him, until he sacks me, or should I give it a wide berth?

How very funny that you have no confidence in keeping the alleged offered job. And even more ridiculous that you post whether you should take it due to the interviewers team they support, no wonder this country is in the position it's in.

There's a thought, every interview you complete and when asked if you have any questions, ask who they support, to determine whether you take the job. Are you wodbods relation by any chance. 🐒.
