So who does everyone want to win tonight then?

Man you vs Real - really don't care.

I want Dortmund to win their game though.

You guys/girls?

Don't you think Dario Srna is a great player? If sagna does leave this summer we should go for him - he's such a good player and so consistent!

I think capoue would be a smarter buy than Wanyama. Wanyama likes to drift forward and take ridiculous shots but capoue is much more disciplined.

And you're not saying that just because you saw him do that against Juve last night?

Mike

No I'm saying it because he's done it in about 10 celtic matches that I've seen season.

Don't believe you've watched him for very long to come to that conclusion.

Agree4 Disagree8

So your saying 10 games isn't enough to judge a player?

Why don't we move for both and sure up our midfield.

Agree0 Disagree1

This guys right, we need a disciplined CDM, something we have lacked for a while.

Even when we had song, song used to drift forward so much.

Tbh I miss flamini!

Criteria that probably limits the options for wenger, is who can we buy as a DM that can actually pass the ball and play fluid attacking football. Wanyama is definitely a good tackler but he's a bit cumbersome with the ball at his feet.
The top end of the scale you have alonso and de'rossi and busquets, but they aren't available, so who can arsene buy that will pass like arteta but play like essien?

Daniel {Ed002's Note - Alonso is available and there is interest in him.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Interest from arsenal specifically?

Daniel {Ed002's Note - No, the likely summer departure of Galatasaray's Selcuk Inan has prompted interest in Xabi Alonso from the Turkish side.}

People who in my opinion and many will agree can no longer help Arsenal: Arshavin, Squilaci (contract till summer 2013) can be just released. Denilson- summer 2014 left on contract can hopefully be sold to Sao Paolo. Chamakh- summer 2014, don't think we can get rid of him. Bendtner- summer 2014, is not Arsenal quality, but is good enough to be sellable, Arsene needs to find a buyer. Santos and Park both have untill summer 2015. Santos seems to be a very nice guy, so he might agree to a wage cut to be moved and he can do well in a weaker league, so I think selling him will not be too hard. Park I know little about he never got the chanse at Arsenal, but he is still young, so I guess he will want to play and push the move if he gets an opportunity. Wenger seems to have a lot to do this summer, but it doesn't seem impossible to shift most of these players and free a lot of wages.

I agree with everything except about arshavin. I always loved watching him play, yes he is frustrating to watch sometimes but he is very creative and magical on his day. maybe his time at arsenal is over but I will always admire him as a player and be eternally grateful for the 4 goals he scored at liverpool and the winner against barca at the emirates. wonderful memories.

He's been played out of position at arsenal for so long, that people forget how good he actually is. Stick him in the centre behind the striker, and he will still probably make more assists than 80% of premier league players.

Agree9 Disagree1

He may be magical on the day, but so can he be lazy and unmotivated. And you can not take that gamble everytime.

Wanyama was frightening again. Exactly the player we need. He does this week in week out.

Why are people disagreeing with that? Wanyama was immense last night. He would get into just about any side in world football

Agree6 Disagree12

Am a kenyan and I love wanyama. but there's one thing I would like to point out. last season people talked about song saying he ventures forwad a lot and that he is meant to be our dm. wanyama is no different yes he can defend and he is good on the ball but how many times does he tend to leave the midfield bare? what arsenal need is a combative ettiene capoue, daniel derossi type of player.

Nothing to do with the Arsenal. Just been watching Juve against Celtic. They look impressive, but I want to give a shout out to Pirlo. What a player! Oozes class
