PSG failed to score against Monaco tonight also, they really are a well drilled team that works extremely hard for one another.

They are very welled drilled side defensivly for sure. We have little chance really to score 3 but maybe if we can score a early goal perhaps we can sow some doubts in their minds and they panic a little.

The thing that amazes me is a player who is wanted by all the big clubs makes a bad move and then suddenly becomes a lost cause, I'm a great believer ability doesn't desapear just confidence does which can be rekindled by a good manager.
Tores is a very good example he was brilliant at Liverpool and didn't lose all that ability over night, Shevchenco another who suffered a rapid decline because of one bad move

I actually feel Barkley is looking elsewhere. No doubt he's not giving his all. Huge fan tho. I think he believes he's better than Everton and he's right. But he's stopped showing it right now. The team around him is struggling tho.

I think we'll see the best of all 3 players again next season plus Martinez without the Thursday night league to contend with, all teams who play in the Europa struggle in the premier league

I think last season he was terrific.

Total all round midfield player.

Had a bad injury at start of this season and has not been the same since.

He's only 21 so he is still learning.

Part of the problem our young players have is they are hyped up by the media at an early age, too early in fact, and too much pressure is put on them.

I think we had/have the same problem with Jack.

Too much expectancy placed on young shoulders, especially if they are English.

Judging on what I saw today tge toffees will be fighting for Europe again next year, you had plenty possession (against the possession Kings) :) and you had very good chances but for our keeper pulling of some real good saves.

But second season syndrome along with the Europa have been yours and Martinez biggest problems this time round compared to last season, he will learn from it and you will be back amongst the top 4 chasers next time round Ed, why? Because I just said you would :-)

Good win result more important than performance. Workmanlike, well from 10 players at least. Obviously wenger left ozil on for the pass in 90 minute, did we really pay 42mil. Gabriel did well, likes a tackle, so hell do for me if he can show some consistancy.

He is by no means world class, good player yes but not world class buddy.

He's hit a great bit of form at the moment an a couple of beautiful goals (great shot on him) he wasn't selected in Brazil's World Cup squad (which wasn't an amazing squad as it is) that just shows that he ain't world class for me. He might well be if he keeps going as he has been, being so young helps too :)

Every man and his dog knows he should of gone to the world cup. Marquinhos should of gone too. Your making out they won it and they played amazing. He should of started for Brazil. No doubt he'll be in the squad soon

By no means am I making out they won the World Cup, quite the opposite they didn't have a great squad and he still couldn't get in, I completely agree he's got to be in the next one and I'd say he's on par with Oscar.

Would he get into any team in the world though? For me the answers no.

There's no doubt he's well on his way the form he's hitting.

I think he's getting better and better not up there with robben etc yet. But he'll be there before you know it. What were inter milan thinking. He's improving quicker than any player right now

If ozil does play then we need a massive performance from him today, he's a lot like arsene at the moment....fans are on the fence with him. We know what he can do but he's just not rising to the occasions. He's the sort of player we need to take the game by the scruff of the neck n say "this is my game, my football pitch, I own this!!)

With both santi and ozil playing santi seems to play to deep which means he's not as affective :( it's one or tother for me.

It's a massive game today to cheer us supporters up

It's not going to be easy by any means but a win is a must, anything other than that I think there will be some serious booing come the final whistle.
