Ed,
A few weeks ago, you kindly posted a long list of possible Arsenal targets.
Are there any new names ( new targets) that could possibly be added to that list.
Also, and this is just your personal view, do you think Wenger could possibly pull off a real big name signing? (Apart from, hopefully, Balotelli)?

{Ed002's Note - This is the updated list but I expect it to change.
GK: Begovic, Ruffier, Marshall
RB: Aurier, Lichtsteiner, Uchida
CB: Ginter, Williams, Hinteregger
MF: Schneiderlin, Khedira, Gustavo, Bender, Rabiot, Hughes
FW: Mandzukic, Bony, Morata, Remy, Lacazette, Heung Min Son, Di Maria, Balotelli, Vela,
Considered but probably won't happen: Sanchez, Kroos, Bernard, Kondogbia, El Shaarawy, Griezmann Batshuayi, Bakkali, Origi, Pedro, Draxler, Song, Gonalons, Abate, Konoplyanka, Benzema,
Interest at some point but won't happen: Reus, Martinez, Erkin, Schmeichel, Kouyate, Mandanda, Ucan, Cuadrado, Adil Rami, Santon, Valbuena, Fabregas, Pejcinovic, Calhanoglu
Ed that's very much for all the efforts and for the list.
Surprised grenier isn't making that list. Not a player I want at arsenal. , but what do I know :)
Thanks again

{Ed002's Note - I don't think there is any interest in Grenier from Arsenal at this time.}
I second the thanks for this list Ed. Much appreciated. Those first 6 strikers look worryingly average. If that's the calibre of player we are after oh dear :(

Heard a very strong rumour that Suarez is pretty much guaranteed to join Madrid.
Question for you all.
Personally, I think English Prem is the best league in the world, with some of the best players.
So, when Real Madrid (and Barca) click their fingers, why do players go running to them?.

Paella mate. The players love it :)

The weather.
In all seriousness though, I cook a pretty mean paella. I'm sure I could tempt a few players over. Take your pick; we'll have dinner at 9.

If you had a choice of playing for Madrid, United, Barca or Bayern, where would you go Dags.
Me, I'm playing for which ever of the two Spanish sides ask me, preferably Madrid and yes I'm that good. Lol.
My love of the Arsenal aside of course.

Whoever pays me the most. I'm not a paella man.

Money, life style, weather, medals both demestic and CL, better take home pay where they talk net not gross pay.
If I was a player and Arsenal didn't want me Spain would be my second chioce deffinately

That's settled than.
Personally, I think you lot are a greedy bunch of Paella eating, sun worshipping, medal grabbing, attention seeking, un-loyal b*****ds.
LOL.

Don't try and kid me Dags, you'd be lying on the beach next to us with your Camoflaged Bentley parked up nearby. ;-)
Why you never walked the short distance from your Penthouse flat I'll never know!

jenny,
walk?
The only time I walk is when semi-naked ladies are throwing scented red rose petals in front of me.
Apart from that, I just use my boys skateboard.

Anyone ever watched on YouTube the puma competition between rues fabregas and balotelli. If not look it up. I know it's only a bit of fun but Cesc did look no where near the player I remember. Balotelli looked class in most of the rounds. As I said means nothing but look it up guys and girls

Balotelli won every round, lol.
Did you see the Legend Thierry?

I have some crazy feeling he's going to flop at Chelsea

I did see the legend himself! See what I mean about Cesc tho? I know it's a mess about but he looked average.

More wood on the fire:
"Balotelli is a great player and a real Italian talent, but nobody is irreplaceable. We’ll see what happens, " said Berlusconi, who is the daughter of club president Silvio Berlusconi and also joint-CEO.

I noticed Ed002 said that Wenger is 'busy with his part time job'
And it got me thinking, no other club manager is out there as a pundit or anything right now.
They're working on deals for their respective clubs.
And again, got me thinking, does anyone think this could affect our deals?
I mean if people can meet agents of players well before Arsene does, it's got to put us at a disadvantage?
This happened with Koscielny if you all remember?
Wenger was at S.A 2010 and had to postpone the deal as he'd left something back at home.
I could be looking at it all wrong, but it's just something that hit me earlier!

{Ed002's Note - Manager's rarely get involved in "working on deals".}
22 Jun 2014 16:56:41
Surely arsene says who he wants and the board attempt the rest. I'm sure they just keep him updated. That part time job shouldn't affect much

Yeah, see, as I said, looking at it wrong.
Personally I blame the heat and sunshine.
It's an Englishman's prerogative to moan about the weather and blame it for stuff regardless of the type.

For me, Wenger, and not the board, or anybody else, should be talking to the agents/clubs/representatives, and he should be making it his first priority.
In fact, his only priority.
Agree0

Totally agree Dags he should be representing the club

Surely it's Wenger that has the biggest effect on our deals, or lack of them.

I just don't think it works like that anymore dags. I'm sure when needed though he is there. U hear many players say it was a convosation with arsene that convinced them.
I've seen many people perhaps criticise him being a pundit at the WC. Not saying anyone is doing that. Just seems people look for a dig at arsene just to jump on the arsene hate train. Again not saying anyone is doing that here.

All work and no play makes Arsene a dull boy

Agree D16.
I guess when we see players signing 'pre-contract' agreements with our rivals, it makes us a little tetchy.

Oh true don't get me wrong we're used to bad transfer windows. And at the moment we seem to be at the starting line whilst everyone else is mid race lol. But still we got to have faith I suppose.

It's been bothering me this for a while, I've noticed the eds ellipsis work, but whenever I do one it just comes up with a full stop and a space.

Why stop at one when we can get two?.
Giroud and Balotelli are great but Remy gives us something different, tremendous speed and all for a mere £8m.
cheap as chips, toodlepips.
