How much do you wanna bet there will be no 'marquee' signing this summer {Ed027's Note - not a penny

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Hey ed, do you know something that we don't? Only you seem fairly sure that we will sign someone good. {Ed027's Note -I just know there will be changes, and that Wenger isn't the tight one

Agree3 Disagree3

Could you give any indication as to what those changes will be?

Agree0 Disagree2

Could you give any indication as to what those changes will be? {Ed027's Note - expect quite a clear out, and atleast 5/6 players coming in, with a marquee signing, also changes in staff, a bonus would be change of ownership though i have no idea there

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed.
Are you able to elaborate a little with what you say regarding Wenger not being the tight one?

Thanks {Ed027's Note - the board have kept the purse close to their chest, wenger dose'nt choose to sell nasri and buy Gervinho, it was forced with the situation we were in, with these new kit deals coming through, and debts clearing fast, we're able to loosen up.

Agree1 Disagree1

Hi Ed027, not tryin to get you into trouble here lol but can you confirm that you think its the board then that's tight? which is what I was hoping by the way! Also do you know if its wenger that imposes the socialist wage structure? thankyou in advance for all your time! {Ed027's Note - yes it is, but they are'nt ding it by purpose, they're were doing it for our own good, also negotiation team has been *****, if they were any good we would of had Reina, Mata etc.

Any of the ed can reply it.
Ed do you see arsenal making marquee signings this summer?thanx {Ed027's Note - yes

Believable2 Unbelievable2

At what price would you think arsenal may be willing to pay ed?
i can't see anyone signing for any more then 18-20mil {Ed027's Note - i'd say around that mark too

This is off topic, but was just considering Chelsea's situation.

This summer they will have a new manager, who I believe has to be Mourinho.

I also see him being handed a truly epic war chest and bringing in some world class talent. Falcao and Fellaini come to mind.

Something to keep an eye on.

Believable3 Unbelievable8

I think you are spot on, although surely they are going to have sell a considerable amount of players

malaga gooner

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Thought bellerin, eisfeld and gnabry looked amazing, also apkom looks solid on the ball, but not as quick minded and intelligent as the other 3

Agree4 Disagree2

Apkom looked great on the ball he held it up pretty well

Question for my fellow gooners, someone who goes to a lot of away games might be able to help me, say west ham are in the Olympic stadium and we have an away game there, if the hammers only sold 20,000 tickets, would they then give the rest (roughly 34,000) to the away team (us) or do we only ever get a set amount?

Cheers lads

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Think that when the hammers move to the OS we will see their ticket sales go up. look at when we moved grounds!

Agree2 Disagree1

Yes but we had a massive waiting list and they struggle to fill upton park

Agree1 Disagree3

It will mean west ham will be able to practically give tickets away in order to fill seats, leading to the death of dag and red and Leyton orient.
The whole situation is shameful and scandelous.

Just wondering where metal gooner and champagne charlie are at these dayss?.

Hate the int break aswell! but there seems to be loads of rumours about players leaving! when will jorunalists sto getting in there heads and leave them alone!

Reading this weekend another chance to turn up the heat, let's keep the 3 points coming lads,

We seem to play so much better with no pressure on us! which isn't the resolve of a championship team who thrive underpressure!

Havent posted in a while. but I ain't going on strike;)

Yorkshire Gooner Joe :D

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Metal. CC & Ed002 have all decided to never be part of this site again (ed002 still working but not answering questions), all upset (rightly so) at abuse being aimed at them.

Apparently they have all rented a small bungalow on the Isle of Wight for a reunion in the summer, but will not be frequenting us any longer.

Agree6 Disagree11

Good, apart from ed 02 he is a great ed. any abusers should be banned anyway

:

1404 to marry Nasri.

Seriously are you his agent or something?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

No I just don't bare a grudge, I was disgusted how he was treated along with Chamakh recently and in all honesty.

We need to start pointing our frustrations at the right people, don't have a go at Nasri because he left, think about why he left? he joined a team that he thought was going to challenge for titles and all he has seen was players leaving and no real investment, so its not the club he thought he was joining so here it is plain and simple. Nasri joined City because that's the team he thought he was signing for when he signed for us, a team that was going to challenge for big players and trophies he stuck around for a bit and thought **** this, let's face it its highly probable that if he hadnt wanted to go then we would have cashed in him at some point anyway.
So he leaves and I can't think of a player that's more hated for leaving (apart from A. Hole but he is in a class of his own when it comes to being a ****) and for what? I really don't see Nasri did anything wrong?

And if I was his agent, I would have got him Barca lol

1404

Agree2 Disagree2

I don't think it's what he did at the club, but what he did after he left.

He has slammed the club on so many occasions, and I think that many fans, including myself believe that he should show respect to the manager and club that made him.

Agree3 Disagree1

I don't think he slammed the club at all, most comments I've seen have been complimentary and he always seems to get back to watch matches at the Emirates whenever he can.

1404

Agree0 Disagree0

1404, you are funny, why don't you and Nasri just get a room? I mean come on he is a very good looking chap is, nt he?

337

Agree0 Disagree0

If Nasri grew his hair and got a bit fatter he would look like Sonia from Eastenders. so for those reasons i'm out

Regardless of departures we are 4 players short
Another centre back
1 midfielder
A winger
And a striker

I believe afobe is ready to be called upon to fill the strikers vacancy
I want Fischer of Ajax or Adam maher to challenge gervinho for his place in the squad
The Dutch xavi has another tenacity and bite in his tackles to join wilshere and Ramsey in the middle of the park
And as for centre half I personally want an Italian; playing in Italy at a young age the emphasis is on defensive positioning, something our defence seems to lack; ogbonno is preference.
I feel it is time to let Sagna arteta mertesacker mannone and rosicky go. There are players ready to fill the void left by them; eisfeild, Miguel, jenkinson, Meade, myiachi, gnabry, akpom, all ready to attempt to make the step up
Js

Believable2 Unbelievable23

So glad u ain't manager

Agree13 Disagree0

Ogbonna would be a brilliant signing.

I know very little of Fisher. seems more like a FIFA hero rather then a viable option.

Agree7 Disagree0

I think Maher and Ogbonna would be good signings. But to think that Miguel would fill Mertesacker's boots is wishful thinking.

Agree4 Disagree0

I think you should add a keeper to that list.

Agree3 Disagree0

Afobe is not ready to fill the striker vacancy. He's not exactly setting the world alight on loan. I'd be playing Pod, Theo and even Gervinho there before him.

Only believe Jenks is really ready to step-up. Gnarby, Eisfeld and Miguel should get some game-time next season but they aren't ready to be regulars.

This is merely to do with the Arsenal but you must of watched the England game, Ashley Young what a strike, don't know what he does for ManUtd but we need a WINGER who can finish like that. Stop playing Ramsey + Santi on the wing and give Walcott some shooting practice!

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Sorry, but I thought Young had an OK game, but the OX was better and more of am all round threat.

We do have a winger who can finish in Walcott, but he has hit an off form patch - He'll come good again!

337

Agree14 Disagree2

Walcott has always been patchy unless you started watching arsenal 10 games ago.

Agree4 Disagree1

^^ Thanks anonomous, I have probably been watching Arsenal since you were a twinkle in your parents eyes, however my point exactly - he will come back to form.

Check his stats, if those are patchy then imagine when he gives us a non patchy season!

337

Agree5 Disagree1

Yes yes and yes again 337!

Jensen Hatrick

Agree0 Disagree0

Consitency is MASSIVE, if you don't have it then you can never make it big. Walcott eithers needs to pick up his game or go and sit on man citys bench. CAN NO ONE SEE HOW MUCH BETTER THE OX IS

Agree1 Disagree0

Check his stats blah blah blah. U watch him. He gets the sitters and due to his pace he gets one and ones often, yes he has beat players through dribbling then score but when he score outside the box, whens he let of a shot with venom and whens he done several good balls in the box game in game out. Nah he doesn't, top scorer but that doesn't really mean anything. Yes I do agree the Ox did well for england but you can't say walcott is a good finisher. patch this patch that, to be a good goal scorer and finisher you need to be consistant.

Agree3 Disagree1

The word imagine says it all m8 he has never produced the goods on a consitent basis. "hes top scorer" torres won the golden boot in the euros does that make him best player there?. didn't think so. Need a consitent, qucik and good finisher. Me thinks remy.

Agree2 Disagree3

Gunnerjabberz or whatever your name is, after translating your post in to English, you are 'jabbering' on about scoring from outside the box, what on earth does this have to with anything?

So the Ox (who I think has great potential) scores one goal against the worst team in Europe and that make Theo rubbish, really?

Theo's game is not about that, he offers other attributes, and for your information I remember him scoring for England from outside the box not so long ago, but all the Theo haters said that was lucky.

337

Agree1 Disagree1

Where was walcott in the 2 legs against bayern (Especially at home) I mean the guy has poor spacial and tactical awareness and has only really got one thing going for him which is his pace. he's 1/2 position player and frankly its boring watching him play

Agree1 Disagree0

Mate, that was anything but lucky, cracking goal, went mental! Ok but consistency is the key and for me he hasn't got it. He needs to up his game, get into it more and stop complaining he is on the wing, because he is weak as a lone striker.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Some young league 2 players and maybe an experience champoinship player?

I honestly can't believe what van Persie has been saying. I'm really starting to dislike this guy. I feel like burning my kit with his name on the back. When they come to the emirates our crowd has to give it to him
