Campbell on the right and Giroud up front giving us minimal disruption.

Who ever comes in its a real opportunity for them to show in the next 3 matches what they have to offer and give Arsene a real problem once everyone's fit again.

Completely agree, it will be very little disruption to Swansea's back 4.

Im going to predict flamini next to coq and cazorla pushed up maybe to the right.

Not a bad shout Steve.

From what he's said, I don't think he'll move santi.
Like you've said dags, I hope he leaves bellerin at rb, for me it's either Campbell or use the youth players.

Absolutely MgM.

31 Oct 2015 09:27:57
sounds completely wenger that Steve but it would be a mistake, everything comes through cazorla I'd be very disappointed if cazorla was put out wide, just stick iwobi or Campbell out there job done.

Papers are quoting Arsene as saying its now or never for Joel which suggests it will be Campbell on the right although personally I wouldn't be shocked to see us start with Sanchez right and Gibbs on the left, just my opinion nothing more.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Oct 2015 10:50:58
Sanchez does not want to be on the right - his move is like Henry's - he likes to shoot coming into the middle on his strong foot.

Looking forward to seeing Campbell getting a run out for 3 games and seeing what he's got- hope he scores a bunch.

30 Oct 2015 11:48:13
so the choice is

1. flamini in the centre and shift a few round.

2. campbell comes in right side.

3. gibbs left and move sanchez right.

which would you pick.

No need for any switching as Wenger has already alluded too, he is considering Campbell or Iwobi for the right side and for me that's it.

Why disrupt anything for something that is clearly working.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2015 12:59:00
No hysteria needed in my opinion - Giroud a very good replacement for Theo and Campbell on right and we are all but at full strength. There is also the possibility someone gets sent off and we are without 11 anyway or Campbell may ( I stress may ) have a blinding game to impress. Been worse not worried! COYG ( bit worried about Bayern but would have been without any injuries! )

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2015 13:09:59
working yes but now that's changed, it isn't the same? and i'm not convinced on campbell or iwobi yet

id get jeff adelaide in and put sanchez on the right.

Campbell on the right.
He has hardly played, now it's his chance.
Plus, seeing it from Campbell's viewpoint, if he doesn't play he would probably demand a move. Can't blame him.

30 Oct 2015 13:45:55
dags no way campbell is here next season he's la liga bound.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2015 14:46:12
It isn't the same as the Walcott option is taken away from us but we still only need to cover that one position and of the 3 games without him Bayern will be where it hurts most.

Against Swansea and the spuds we just cover the right wing position and defend for all were worth in Munich.

The French U17 team were knocked out yesterday so Adelaide will be back soon.

Whether he is a genuine option just yet only Wengers knows I guess.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2015 14:41:47
who cares if he demands a move he's absolutely awful.

30 Oct 2015 15:40:55
They were indeed knocked out. Costa Rica could of just ended Campbell's chance to impress.

30 Oct 2015 17:53:33
Agree Derby, but whilst he has a squad number, we might as well use him.
Its his chance to shine.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2015 22:38:05
Derby, you would play our best player out of position to accommodate a child? I think you're having a laugh there mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Oct 2015 00:08:51
Ubi you have said that before when I said De bruyne would make our team. U called me out. Whos laughing now?

Sanchez can play anywhere left. Centre or right no big deal. Adelaide is the future. Joel. Campbell is not.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Oct 2015 05:59:21
And Messi can play right back, that doesn't mean he should. If you think Sanchez will be moved from the left, clearly his best position, then I can assure you you are wrong. It won't happen pals. And who is this De Bruyne chap? You've never mentioned him before.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Oct 2015 08:55:02
His best position is probably a number 10. His form there for udinese got him the Barcelona move.

Moving someone from midfield to defence is different from changing them from wide right to wide left.

You shoot people down but if a player proves you wrong you say nothing. Unlike others who admit it have a laugh and we continue the banter.

Anyway enjoy the game.

Wow not sure i agree with some of the things being said about the defence. 4 of the eight mensioned are not even full internationals and to say best in europe, come on.
You honesly think we are better than man city, bayern, madrid, juventus or psg. They are good but not that good, calm down. Lol.

Seriously Steve,

I wouldn't normally bother bringing this back up but seeing your reply below did you actually read my original post properly or any of those that followed it, I appreciate everything is in the negative for you but you don't half talk some cobblers at times.

Do you even know who plays in those equivalent 7 positions for the teams you just reeled off. Maybe you could enlighten me as to who plays where and how their respective 7 are so much better. I am not saying they are not by the way but seriously.

Munich and Madrid both have a reputation as not being as good defensively as they are offensively. You do know where Juventus currently sit in Seria A, don't you? But don't let simple things like that get in the way of a little negativity or putting down the team.

It was a straight forward question in honesty of how good our defence was in comparison to the EPL and other teams in Europe i did not, nor did anyone else say we are the best by a mile. Not even you though can surely be blinkered that much as to not be able to see the massive improvement in our defence, with the potential for Gabriel to improve it further.

Even according to your statement it would appear you think we are so much worse than City, so do you genuinely think, having watched us play this season that Hart, Sagna, Kompany, Otamendi, Kolarov, Fernandinho and Fernando are that much better than us because I'm betting we are not far off if not a match for those 7.

You really do get blinkered by negativity mate and I love it when you say, I say what I see, unfortunately that doesn't make you right. It like this is just an opinion. You make numerous valid points at times but others it seems like it's just for the sake of it.

So calm down my Arsenal was truly wide of the mark. If I've said it once I've said it a number of times, basically we've achieved nothing in relation to winning trophies this season but are moving nicely in the right direction. I see you even managed to drag out a negative comment about Cesc's partner.

I have to agree with Red, we are looking very solid with reagrds the back four ( kiss of death ) we are settled and tight, this I think has much to do with the goal keeper we have purchased .

Red do your home work, bellarin, gabriel, coq, and monreal, either are not full internationals or are not first or second choice. People are making out we have not only the best defence in the prem but Europe . If you had read i'm not knocking them, just keeping my feet on the ground and being real. A few games ago we were being beat by West ham kiev and olypiacos, a few games later we have improved, but not to the levels being banded about. Repeat i'm not knocking just being real.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2015 22:46:08
Not the best back 7 in Europe, but in my opinion it absolutely pisses all over City's. It's the top end of the pitch where City are better than us.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Oct 2015 09:39:51
Steve,

You are joking right, who exactly said we had the best defence in Europe? Perhaps you could name and shame.

And seriously I didn't realise four of them were not internationals, who stupid of me.

It's irrelevant mate, that defensive 7 is quality as a unit, you know I keep my feet on the ground but to suggest they can't be all that because they have yet or no longer represent their country is a little naive.

City lost two games on the bounce and in Europe yet you want to say they're top notch.

You need to give suitable credit where it's due or you just look daft.
