Ed002 said a few days ago its possible Theo Jack or even both could move this summer, it would certainly signify Arsene's patience running out faster than his contract.

if wenger wants to win a title before he goes he needs to be brutal with team selection and signings.

Theo is a difference maker, but you need to play to make a difference not sit out 3-6 months at any given time.

I like that G62.

Banter please ed.

Right guys you are not going to believe this but just seen on the Arsenal web page that Debuchy, Wilshere, Arteta and wait for it...Abou Diaby have just played in an Arsenal XI vs Brentford game.

Diaby and Wilshere were taken off at half time but we now only have Welbeck and Chamberlain on the injury list.

Never did I think I'd live long enough to see us with only two injured players on physioroom and Diaby back on a pitch in an Arsenal shirt.

Since everyone else does this on occasion, "just heard from a very reliable source that is right 96.34% of the time that Sterling will be sold this summer to arsenal for 40 million and 1 pounds."

Liverpool will look to sign Thierry Henry as a short term replacement after a superb performance in the charity game at Anfield.

I have to say 40 million is a lot to pay for a right back (thanks rodgers).

TjRed,

You can't judge players by a charity match.

I mean, C'mon, even Balotelli scored a goal :-)

Haha that's Fair. I'm still a mario fan though. I think he's misused. Why always mario?

TjRed,

I think the fact he is "used" is where the problem starts, lol.

There has been a lot of discussion on here regarding who's better between Walcott and Sterling. I personally believe it's Sterling by far however a question I find less easy to answer and would like everyones opinion on is who's better between Sterling and the OX. Both similar age with similar attributes I'm really having a hard time splitting them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Mar 2015 12:50:19
the stats would suggest sterling is having a better season.

but i feel in the setup of the team, ox has thrived more and made more of an impact, on a more consistent basis.

i think if walcott does leave bringing in sterling will not add much to the team, as we have a similar player with similar potential, while ox works better in a central midfield position, and he does well on the wing too, i think sterling is more suited upfront or in a tandem upfront or as a second striker. completely different positions but similar potential for their respective positions.

and i repeat, if we sell walcott, the only player who will make us better is Reus, and yes he will be out of our price range and most likely move to madrid or barca when they come knocking, he would be the player who would work well with Ozil and give us firepower while adding some composure to the wing.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 12:52:39
Sterling is less injury prone so he has the edge for me. the ox is class but is injury list is growing

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 14:23:25
Walcott is more influential than both when healthy. He is explosive with an eye for goal - even when he is not scoring he is a big concern for the opposition. Waiting for the day we have him and Sanchez at full flight, with Giroud as the fulcrum in the middle - giving Cazorla and Ozil some fearful options.

Apologize in advance if my post is a bit too positive for some of you, COYG!

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 15:35:40
Totally agree Rooster.

When fit, Walcott is our biggest game changer.

Would not swap him Sterling.

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 15:59:33
I'd be shocked if walcott is still with us next season. I don't think for a minute that Sterling will be joining us but I can't see walcott staying considering he's not in our starting 11 anymore. Too poor in front of goal and I believe Wenger is no longer as keen to keep him as previously.

question for all. is sterling as good as hazard was at the same age?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Mar 2015 12:42:35
I don't think it can be measured.

some players peak early, others blossom late.

hazard is not being utilised to his strengths at chelsea. basically does not have the freedom to roam that messi and ronaldo have, if he is given the keys i feel he will really come alive and be a 30 goal a season player.

sterling, ox and kane are the only players who will realise their potential. i can see by the way they play the genuinely commit to the cause 100%.

where they reach is upto them.

but i think wilshere and walcott have wasted their potential, and if barkley does not knuckle down and keep going he maybe the next to wilt.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 14:16:20
Going to raise a few eye brows here and say sterling simply because he's been doing it in the prem rather than ligue1 the French league is stronger now than it was in 2011. Then the argument for hazard would be he didn't have the quality of players with him then I.e Suarez Sturridge, tough one but sterling for me

Spot on laker

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 17:32:44
Agree Lakervile but you should add Ramsey to that list of will be big stars as like the others the work rate desire and sheer will to succeed is obvious, Theo and Jack have both be tipped so heavily by so many for so long they have both fallen into the trap of believing there success is an investability, Jack may wake up but Theo's wanting a pay rise says to me he's still oblivious to his own lack of development dispite being a 26 year old who is still talked about as having great potential

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 19:13:09
i wanted to comment specifically on english players with potential G62

i don't doubt ramsey for a moment, i did once upon a time, he made me eat too much humble pie and now i'm just going to let him do his thing, and he's always coming up with crucial goals here and there, i think with schneiderlin, the both of them can help us to success.

theo has expended his potential, nice guy but probably a bit too naive. he should have a look at his fifa rating if he needs a wake up call. lol

Really important match against Liverpool, if we win we will be 9 points clear of them with only 7 matches to go, making it extremely difficult for them to catch us.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

31 Mar 2015 07:40:16
But should we lose the gap is 3pts and Thursday night football once again becomes a very real possibility, its a very big game Robbie and of course we are deservedly favorites but as Newcastle and Monaco taught us we are going to have to earn every win.
My guess is a 2 0 win as long as we are at it from start to finish.

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 12:51:31
i think we can beat them, but early kickoffs seem to hurt us the most and the ref itself is going to cost us 2 points.

I know players are slated for their massive pay packets, but Lewis Hamilton has just signed a £27m yearly contract.

Jeez, crazy ain't the word.

{Ed025's Note - driving a car is a very lucrative profession dags.. :)

31 Mar 2015 08:12:17
Ed,

With the numpties I have to deal with, I should be on pay parity with Hamilton.

Let me check my contract :-)
