I thought he was worth a gamble alrite.
Wasn't annoyed we didn't get him or anything though.
But you know what? I must have some issues or something because I still think he's worth a punt at 10mil!

Yup hands up I desperately wanted Mighty Mario which at the moment looks like a very lucky escape for me and more importantly us.
I also wanted Song Fab and Diame who currently look like they would have paid off but time will tell as the seasons only 25% done, same with the the Italian enigma of course but it ain't looking great for him so far

I admit I thought he was worth a go at the price, never imagined he would be this bad! he's been shocking

I called it clearly not a good move. So proud. I'm happy with Danny, he's not prolific but he does offer strength, speed and works hard.

Danny is a grafter Ozil no question and you will always get 100% the best he has to give on the day, ok its not always perfection but it's always honest.
If we'd had a poll in July Mario or Danny anyone voting for Danny would have been laughed at, people may not want to admit it now but Danny Welbeck was ranked along side Tom Cleverly as a potential signing by most on this page including myself back in the summer

{Ed025's Note - what a lucky miss cleverley was G62, terrible player, everton were linked with him in the summer and there was not an empty seat in the local churches here with evertonians praying he would not come!..

Surely no one for a minute thought or even hoped we were going to sign Tom Cleverley.

That would of been on a par with the thinking that Nani, Smalling, Young or Jones were coming here too, all linked with us at some stage. All of them utter dross.

Jesus we were linked with some utter shizzle in the summer when you look back at it.

I was one who would have been happy if we signed Ballotelli. I always felt and still do believe he would have performed well with the way we play.
Just because he's not been a success at liverpool doesn't mean it wouldn't have worked at Arsenal. Nobody knows least of all you, and nobody will ever find out now.

I think the jury is still out on Danny but he is doing a good job and does give us options when Olly is back.

Hello, mario was the man for me. I think if you played him with a hard worker, e.g. Aguero, suarez or in our case Sanchez he would be incredible

Another out the woodwork. Mario is dire for liverpool, he he. I still think with the right guidance he could have
been good for us. But welly will do for now, until we get messy.

Mario has all the qualities to be the next Ibrahimovic. Playing for Milan in his first 6 months he was absolutley deadly infront of goal. I admit I wanted us to sign him, just for his potential. Welbeck hasn't excatly set the world on fire at Arsenal, but he gives 100% every game. Something mad Mario is incapable of doing.

I would of payed an extra 4mill and got bony ahead of both players. Benteke impressed me versus spurs not long back from injury but the slap was foolish? It was a spurs player he should of ko'd him lol.
