No Bellerin tomorrow, massive miss for the game. Debuchy will most likely deputise, but it is a huge loss for us tomorrow. A weakened right hand side, Campbell playing for the likes of Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain missing and Debuchy for Bellerin. We need a massive effort tomorrow.

That doesn't help our case that's for sure but Id rather he be fit for the NLD.

Like Campbell on Saturday Debuchy may look look much better coming in to settled team than he has in a mishmash 11 as against Olypiakos and Zargreb plus Sheffield Wednesday, that's got to be the hope any way.

Now I am worried. Falling like flies.

03 Nov 2015 22:31:53
Steve storm crow is always worried. The team is missing a few starting from the starting 11 but we should be a difficult team to beat and let's look forward to the game and not fret.

Oh great,
Might have an early night tomorrow and just wake up before Spurs game.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 22:44:31
Well Steve it will show one way or the other how good our cover is, some on here insist we have good cover for all positions others like myself think we're very short on quality in depth.
Results have shown our best 11/12 to be very competitive, we might be about see the debate about our 13-18 choice's tested.

Our best 14 is very very competitive. 15-20 is a no no

Im brave enough on here to predict a 2-0 defeat.

Bellerin, Ramsey, Ox and Walcott arguably our four quickest players all missing .

Just an opinion people so don't start shooting me down, as always I will be on here tomorrow regardless of how good or not my forecast was.

Banbury I will be amazed if we let less than two in and I will be amazed if we score two, if that makes sense. let's hope i'm amazed. A draw would be fantasic. I won't mind a defeat by two if the other game is a draw, the home result will then mean so much more. I hope whatever it is still in our hands after tomorrow.

04 Nov 2015 05:44:25
The talk used to be Bellerin going forward but Debuchy for defending - I hope that is still the case and Debuchy puts in a good shift.

All credit to Bellerin for becoming pretty much the best right back in the EPL and soon to be Europe - fantastic player.

Recent performances against utd and Bayern have shown we can be both devastatingly classy and also ultra competitive so I wouldn't write our chances of getting a draw off completely because of a couple of injuries but Bayern are an acceptional team who would most probably win the premier league quite comfortably each season.
Getting a draw would be a fantasticachievement and yet more proof of real progress.

62 I understand that BUT players who were available for those fixtures aren't available now .

So just to recap if we get beat tonight it's a proven fact that our cover is not of the quality required?! Against Bayern who could quite easily put 5 past our strongest 11 on their day. Look we could defo have done with a few more I said that before window was shut and I still believe this to be the case but it's almost like people are just waiting for that I told you so moment to come,

So if we get beat 1,2,3-0 tonight everyone is going to be like I told you so wenger is an idiot everyone knew that this was going to happen . Nothing to be done till at least Jan and I think we're going to fluke a win tonight. 1-2 I reckon. Feel it in my bones.

debuchy used to be solid. that injury at his age looks like its taken some pace off him. he used to be so hard to beat i was a big fan.

other than bellerin who is 100% First team starter we are at full strength. Yes Walcott has been first choice but giroud has been decent and at the start of the season people were questioning weather he should be up front.

Wide right no one has nailed down that position this season, again ox has been in and out and form up and down, Ramsay has usually been preferred but most on here moan about him playing there. I am not a fan of campbell however he played well at the weekend and the one he he does really well is track back. somone mentioned that even with our first team and no injury's we could easily go into bayerns back yard and take a beating, they can be tat good. However we have been there twice recently and good a positive result and with pretty much our full strength first team i am quitely confident of a draw.

What this single game will not prove is weather Wenger was right or wrong not to buy any outfield players, that will come in January when we look at where we are then, if we are in champ league, and still joint top then there is no justification to say he got it wrong. if he does not but again then we will have to wait until the end of the season,

04 Nov 2015 10:09:33
we all know he wasnt right to buy no one. look at bayern had robben ribery out but had costa to cover them.

the question is will we get away with it.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Nov 2015 12:31:50
Fair point Derby as i think we would all say he should have strengthened/added.

get away with it is prob a bit harsh and will be interesting to see where we are come jan.

Massive euro away grip. They have a good European pedegree. A draw wouldn't be a disaster but a win would be amazing. Few injuries yes but should have enough. The trip isn't the longest as another big game Sunday. Topping the group unlikely so second is the aim of course. After a home win last weekend time to go again.

Some good news for you mate, your man Rene-Adelaide was training with the 1st team today ahead of the game.

On the bench maybe?

As far as the game goes I'd take a draw but hope for more.

Derby, a win would put us in a strong position to finish top, but would be more than happy with a draw.

Cryptic one there as I build it up to sound like arsenal but I put a home win. :) :) . Banter

I rate Jeff highly red dog. He can be our pogba.

If I was wenger I would put it like this to the players 'win and we're through " draw or lose and we still have a fighting chance, let's hope olyimpiacos don't win and that would make things a bit more stress free!

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 19:19:03
Be happy with a draw? I'd be absolutely buzzing to get a draw against Bayern Munich in their own back yard in a game the result mattered 100% to both teams.
I'm not underestimating our capability or putting us down in any way but not losing tomorrow night and out pointing a totally committed Bayern over 2 games would be an amazing sign of improvement and progress, as for actually beating them twice on the bounce both home and away, that's to mind blowing to think seriously about until its actually happens.

03 Nov 2015 19:41:32
Me too Derby, he looks like a quality purchase by Wenger. For a 17yr old he's a big lad.

Was just letting you know he's back in the fold. :-)

Adelaide has travelled with the squad but Bellerin has picked up an injury and is out of the game.

Bellerin omg no. what's happened : ( debuchy vs Costa is a worry.

Your right Jeff is a tank.

03 Nov 2015 20:45:14
Should we lose and Olypiakos win tomorrow night Bayern will still need to beat Olypiakos next game up to take back control of the group. If that happens aa long as we beat Zargreb we will then go to Olypiakos with our Champions league future in our own hands win lose or draw at Bayern tomorrow.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 20:54:51
Slight groin niggle and I wasn't going to mention Debuchy vs Costa, although at least Debuchy had 90 minutes against Sheffield Weds the other night which will be a benefit, I hope :-)

Lose tomorrow and we are out. Would be near impossible to progress.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Nov 2015 21:49:35
Not true Derby as long as we beat Zargreb and Bayern beat Olympiakos in game 5 its still game on regardless of tomorrow night, its just a case of how big the task is.

of course its possible just not likely. head to head is against us big time if he ends like that.

I don't mind raving dags.

You do know that there is a weird condition that Spurs fans get, where they honestly whole heartedly believe this is the year they will finish above Arsenal it never happens but they won't stop believing . Leeds United fans had the same dilusional ideas about besting United .

Ignorance is bliss they say and that's why it's so peaceful over the Spurs site.
