No Bellerin tomorrow, massive miss for the game. Debuchy will most likely deputise, but it is a huge loss for us tomorrow. A weakened right hand side, Campbell playing for the likes of Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain missing and Debuchy for Bellerin. We need a massive effort tomorrow.
03 Nov 2015 21:24:58
That doesn't help our case that's for sure but Id rather he be fit for the NLD.
03 Nov 2015 21:27:51
Like Campbell on Saturday Debuchy may look look much better coming in to settled team than he has in a mishmash 11 as against Olypiakos and Zargreb plus Sheffield Wednesday, that's got to be the hope any way.
03 Nov 2015 22:07:28
Now I am worried. Falling like flies.
03 Nov 2015 22:31:53
Steve storm crow is always worried. The team is missing a few starting from the starting 11 but we should be a difficult team to beat and let's look forward to the game and not fret.
03 Nov 2015 22:41:40
Oh great,
Might have an early night tomorrow and just wake up before Spurs game.
03 Nov 2015 22:44:31
Well Steve it will show one way or the other how good our cover is, some on here insist we have good cover for all positions others like myself think we're very short on quality in depth.
Results have shown our best 11/12 to be very competitive, we might be about see the debate about our 13-18 choice's tested.
03 Nov 2015 23:15:06
62
Our best 14 is very very competitive. 15-20 is a no no
Im brave enough on here to predict a 2-0 defeat.
Bellerin, Ramsey, Ox and Walcott arguably our four quickest players all missing .
Just an opinion people so don't start shooting me down, as always I will be on here tomorrow regardless of how good or not my forecast was.
04 Nov 2015 00:54:17
Banbury I will be amazed if we let less than two in and I will be amazed if we score two, if that makes sense. let's hope i'm amazed. A draw would be fantasic. I won't mind a defeat by two if the other game is a draw, the home result will then mean so much more. I hope whatever it is still in our hands after tomorrow.
04 Nov 2015 05:44:25
The talk used to be Bellerin going forward but Debuchy for defending - I hope that is still the case and Debuchy puts in a good shift.
All credit to Bellerin for becoming pretty much the best right back in the EPL and soon to be Europe - fantastic player.
04 Nov 2015 07:48:18
Recent performances against utd and Bayern have shown we can be both devastatingly classy and also ultra competitive so I wouldn't write our chances of getting a draw off completely because of a couple of injuries but Bayern are an acceptional team who would most probably win the premier league quite comfortably each season.
Getting a draw would be a fantasticachievement and yet more proof of real progress.
04 Nov 2015 08:00:17
62 I understand that BUT players who were available for those fixtures aren't available now .
04 Nov 2015 08:10:12
So just to recap if we get beat tonight it's a proven fact that our cover is not of the quality required?! Against Bayern who could quite easily put 5 past our strongest 11 on their day. Look we could defo have done with a few more I said that before window was shut and I still believe this to be the case but it's almost like people are just waiting for that I told you so moment to come,
So if we get beat 1,2,3-0 tonight everyone is going to be like I told you so wenger is an idiot everyone knew that this was going to happen . Nothing to be done till at least Jan and I think we're going to fluke a win tonight. 1-2 I reckon. Feel it in my bones.
04 Nov 2015 08:52:02
debuchy used to be solid. that injury at his age looks like its taken some pace off him. he used to be so hard to beat i was a big fan.
04 Nov 2015 09:12:20
other than bellerin who is 100% First team starter we are at full strength. Yes Walcott has been first choice but giroud has been decent and at the start of the season people were questioning weather he should be up front.
Wide right no one has nailed down that position this season, again ox has been in and out and form up and down, Ramsay has usually been preferred but most on here moan about him playing there. I am not a fan of campbell however he played well at the weekend and the one he he does really well is track back. somone mentioned that even with our first team and no injury's we could easily go into bayerns back yard and take a beating, they can be tat good. However we have been there twice recently and good a positive result and with pretty much our full strength first team i am quitely confident of a draw.
What this single game will not prove is weather Wenger was right or wrong not to buy any outfield players, that will come in January when we look at where we are then, if we are in champ league, and still joint top then there is no justification to say he got it wrong. if he does not but again then we will have to wait until the end of the season,
04 Nov 2015 10:09:33
we all know he wasnt right to buy no one. look at bayern had robben ribery out but had costa to cover them.
the question is will we get away with it.
04 Nov 2015 12:31:50
Fair point Derby as i think we would all say he should have strengthened/added.
get away with it is prob a bit harsh and will be interesting to see where we are come jan.
