Poldolski says he's happy to stay if we need his help, he never quite fitted in before we discovered our new found work ethic in 2015 (which strangely coincided with him leaving) so unless he could suddenly find a new eagerness to put in a shift himself I can't see how could do us any good at all by staying.
But a Podolski who actually moved his legs as often as his fingers do on twotter might be interesting to see.

Wenger wouldn't have sent him out n loan if he believed he was to play a part at the club. His loan spell was hardly a success. It looks likely that we will try and sell him or loan him out again. I can't see him playing for th first team at Arsenal again.

Will you make it happen if we pick one Malaga? If so I pick reus or have I just put the kiss of death on that one!

Like Wenger I always want top top quality....So its time for Arsenal to get its own Rolls Reus!!

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jun 2015 14:27:16
It annoys me Epping because everyone knows a player like reus is very much there for the taking and is well within arsenals range. But we would haggle and penny pinch and loose out. Instead of going to Dortmund and say what do you want.. Here it is Mr Dortmund thank you very much. Dortmund know he's going that's why he signed a contact extension so they could get full value and reus agreed cause he loves Dortmund

I could'nt agree more Brow...A lot of the talk on here regarding certain eurpoean based players goes right over my head as i generally don' watch much euro football. But my Brother-in -law lives in Munich, (Originally Augsburg) so i sort of follow and watch the Bundesliga, mainly as an armchair Augsburg fan...and what i see of Reus, he really does look the real deal.....i guess Wenger might struggle to fit him in alongside Ozil perhaps...but i think he is exactly the sort of player Wenger likes, in that he can play across the front 3 (or behind in the playmaker role)....he will be snapped up by Real or Barca at some point....we should try and move first, because even if we only had him for a season or two before he moves on, it would be at a substantial profit!

Ibrahimovic is it true or paper talk

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Jun 2015 11:57:30
More than likely paper talk! It would only be a short term solution and he would bring a bad vibe to arsenal. Great player but far to arrogant and far too much hassle!

Are we interested in Anthony martial from Monaco?

Not arsenal related but I just saw that Mark lawrenson said that Liverpool signing James Milner will be key to attracting top talent to Anfield, now James Milner is hardly world class is he so what 'top talent' he's thinking of is beyond me! No disrespect to the guy he's a good player but that's it, he wouldn't get anywhere near our team so if he is going to be their key to success I'd like to know what that success will be lol

Now to arsenal related business, I don't believe wenger will go all out this summer, if he will get any players it will be adequate back up for what we already have imo. I'd like to think he would splash out for a world class ST but I just can't see it happening, if it does he will be welcomed with open arms and I'll take back my words happily.

Certain people in the media like to speak upon there prejudice's hence why hard working grafters like Milner get an easy ride whilst far superior players like ozil get slashed, despite similar wages...

Agree1 Disagree1

08 Jun 2015 07:40:20
It also does not help if those so called 'superior' players do naff all to warrant there £41m price tag.

Milner is not world-class I grant u, but if ozil put in half the work that Milner does he would be twice the player he is now in the prem, imo.

Agree0 Disagree2

08 Jun 2015 09:24:41
so CTR becasue rooney runs around like a headless chicken, from striker to cb and not really thinking about spaces but rather doing the best impression of forest gump it makes him infinitely better than milner?

just becasue you run a lot and put in tackles does not mean its better for the team, it actually means you have given away positional advantage, 9/10 times

im not trying to slate milner or praise ozil, but to say ozil would be better if he ran like milner is a bit absurd. if milner had half the skill ozil has perhaps he would not have to run at all?

Agree6 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 10:17:45
Lakers, I did not mention Rooney, my views on him are pretty much as u have just said, in his position he needs to be more clever but imo he plays off instinct.

I understand your argument, so would that same argument apply to Sanchez? Who runs around like a fly on coke!
Ozil is a very good player but lacks effort. It's not about just running but it's about effort which he lacks imo.

Agree0 Disagree1

08 Jun 2015 14:49:34
The thing with ozil is he came from Madrid with great players around him and plenty of time and space he also has great players at arsenal but not as much time. He has vastly improved the second half of season and realised he has to put out a bit more. He is defo better in the middle of the attacking midfield than when he was out on the left. But Milner £150k is crazy but he does at least 500 press ups at half time

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 15:44:47
I'm in no way claiming Milner is a great buy just pointing out to saint there is no prejudice towards arsenal players as he loves to make out.

Look at people like Sanchez for example, a great player that works his socks of like they did at barca under pep. There more to putting in effort than just running about a lot.

Ozil has great quality but he just seems to me that he thinks u are lucky to have him, rather than him being lucky to be at a club like arsenal.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 16:13:00
I still don't get utd people, in one odd match when alexis was defending i got a text imagine alexis defending, that's how poor arsenal are playing, but when rooney runs like he is on starburst, look at his commitment. Alexis runs because he can and makes it up via loosing the ball so much, ozil is simple calm and class. He ran enough rings around you people during the FA cup and against pool.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 16:32:23
So your happy with Ozil playing every game hood? Ure happy with his work rate and effort put in?

Sanchez as I have repeatedly said is an amazing player (my player of the year) short of banging my head against a brick wall. I have not once criticized his work rate or his effort. Laker bought Rooney into the argument not me.

I actually agreed with him regarding wazza.

I don't get all these arsenal fans that think finishing on a lower points total than last year is a step forward.

But that's another discussion altogether.

Agree0 Disagree2

08 Jun 2015 17:20:30
Lower point total but still finished above your lot
How much have you spent to finish 4th

Di Maria lmfao

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 17:50:26
I hear ya CTR! And completely agree. Ozil was a masive worry with his general lack lustre attitude at the beginning but in an interview when he was injured he identified that he needed to up his work rate and get physically stronger. Which I think he has done.. Or it could possibly because le coq came into team as ozil was getting back which enabled him to play his natural game. You have to work hard in this league you can't hide in the EPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 17:55:35
But as regards to us moving forward we definitely have. It's how we played against the bigger teams. You can't judge it on points because the standard of teams you play differ from year to year. That's why it always goes on possition. If a team won leauge with a 100 points one year and then with 78 another it could arguably be said that they had to beat lots more better teams to achieve those 78 poonts

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 18:41:42
I know browgun mate I agree with your points and can remember that interview.

Yes Malaga di Maria? Because that in someway disproves my point?

It's a shame your not better at this it really is.

Agree0 Disagree1

08 Jun 2015 20:10:12
Ofc i want ozil to play every week, he is subtle with the ball and a true technican, he sees the game always ahead. I thought he was brilliant against villa, in the final. Yes we did finish lower points wise but a league position higher which is some progress, the main area of progress has come frm the big games this season. I think if we got 79 pts we wld have ended up 2nd, so that wldnt be progression. Anyways barring all this i wld pick ozil in my team week in n week out and tell me if u wldnt want the same at utd, i m sure u wld take ozil ahead of all your midfielders

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 20:55:06
Wenger also agrees with you hood he has only missed games when he's not fit! The problem was adaptation to the English game which is understandable. He has also developed and understanding with carzola Sanchez and Ramsey and it's the understanding of other players that is ozil's real talent! I also have learned over the years not to crow when United have a poor season. They have money to spend and they will spend it and every time iv gobbed off about United iv had to eat pie time and again. Spuds on the other hand never let me down lol

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 21:20:02
Ozil the name yes pre arsenal I thought the boy would improve any team he went to, but since his move to arsenal he has flattered to deceive imo.

We have seen flashes of what he can do but they are to few and far between.

Tell me who he replaces when u have theo, cazorla, Jack, Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez, Coqulian etc all fit (considering u have said u would have him playing every week).

For £40m(ish) I would expect a lot better (as I do with Mata and Di Maria).

Honestly if you were offered your money back would u not sell?

Agree0 Disagree2

08 Jun 2015 21:56:13
Its a difficult one that CTR! Would i sell now probably not as he is moving in the right direction and is starting to gel. He is off the radar now so i think he will take teams by surprise. I think we forget that a cheep player is now what was a record 10 years ago. I think the whole ozil buy was a statement from arsenal and we were great at the start of the season when we bought ozil and so was he. Its the big price tags that make people expect instant results but in the current climate you don't get as much bang for your buck as you used too. I can only think of two players that you could guarantee results and that's messi and cr7.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 22:16:00
Ozil in starting 11 all day long - keeps up ticking, possession, creates space, creates chances and plays for the team

Good point and well put across Brow mate.

We will see, because if u can what a player u could have.

Do you not think, much like Mata in order to get the best out of him u would need to build a team around him?

To me he just reminds me of Berbatov in the sense that, u know this classey artist is in there that when on form they make the game look effortless and seems to make magic happen, but I just can't seem to wake him up often enough to warrant having to carry him when he's not 'on it'.

Sanchez for me has shown everyone if u are good enough u can perform in any league, Di Maria showed it for 7-8 games then a combination of injuries and personal problems seemed to coincide with a drastic drop off in form. Maybe we will see the best of Angel or maybe in order to get the best out of him he needs to move on. I will judge him again next summer but right now if I was offered £50m for him I'd take it. We have Depay signed up to cover his role for now and get in a solid CM and Defender with the cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 22:46:39
The di Maria and ozil thing is funny I think we can both agree they were both very good at Madrid but ozil was first team every year and was the better player there. Di Maria had a great season at Madrid before he came to United playing a more central roll. United payed well over the odds for him compared to what we paid for ozil! But that's because United is United so they put 20 mil on for that and you were desperate after moyes and had a new sponsor to fulfil. I agree it's stick or twist for di Maria after next season but I think for us ozil will come on nicely. Also arsenal fans on a whole like ozil and its a mixed bag for di Maria with United fans. But United expect more because they have won more. It goes with the territory I'm afraid

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2015 23:09:48
I seem to remember ozil being a mixed bag not so long ago with the arsenal fans.

Di Maria needs to find his form and maintain it consistently imo something he has never really done barring one season at Madrid and benfica. Maybe he takes time to settle into a club but at United we don't pay £60m to have to wait 2 years to see the best of a player. Next season is a big one for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jun 2015 02:13:40
Yeah like I say at United mate. You expect big things fast! I like di Maria you paid over the odds but I like di Maria van gal needs to buy players and find his best team fast. You will buy this summer and then you need a season of continuity to gel. I sound like wenger lol.. I have forgot something ah yes with plenty of spirt and togetherness... Now I defo sound like wenger

09 Jun 2015 09:09:15
CTR you've mentioned everything from the exhausted debate about Ozil's workrate, even fitting in a cheeky dig about how we've finished on less points than last year which was completely impertinent and now you've even managed to turn the topic to Man U's tactics and team selection. Do you just come on here and other teams pages no doubt to get reactions?

What do u think United need to do perfect? :)

I think u need to 're read the thread and see who started talking about United mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jun 2015 11:59:57
TPG summed this up perfectly, the problem here is simple, the Pundits don't like ozil because of his price tag and because he plays for Arsenal. Utd have had more flops with higher tags, Veron and Forlan just to name a few, but the pundits dint care to slate them since they played for utd. Ozil i would not sell him back, not even someone gave us 40m, he keeps the game ticking, and produces moments in every match, which is good enough.

Mate pundits flick from team to team and player to player. Certain pundits and ex players have their personal preferences from their playing career nothing more nothing less I don't see any particular witch hunt against us. In reality they are probably just frustrated like us arsensal fans when we are so near yet so far away despite having spells over parts of every season where we have been by far the best team. Bit like an alpha Romeo really nice cars... When they work

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jun 2015 15:55:44
Because I have 2 different sign on names Malaga, everyone knows who I am, it just so happens on my fone it's CTR and on my iPad it's Chris the REDman.

Well everyone knows except u lol.

Lol hood, yes everyone is against arsenal! Wow I only mentioned a few days back how arsenal fans are starting to sound like Liverpool fans and it really is true. Next there will be conspiracy and all that lol.

U obviously have a short memory if u don't think we got pelters regarding Veron, Bebe etc and Di Maria does not get them now.

Christ on a bike, the posters on here are getting worse.

Arsenal get praise for there football played, stadium, fancy players etc and still that is not enough for u! I don't honestly know what more u want! It's not like these players have achieved anything amazing(league or CL) apart from b2b fa cups (which is an achievement).

Agree0 Disagree0

CTR we are coming along nicely and its always a testament when United fans turn their attention to what arsenal are doing. That been said United can only get better surely! Think your going to buy big this summer so you might have a little more weight in your arguments next year . I think the 2 fa cups back to back is masive and as good as chelsea were this season the reason they did better in the leauge is that they could play defensively can't do that in cup games because at some point you got to try and win!

Agree0 Disagree0
