I think Klopp will quickly turn the top 4 back into a 5 horse race which is excellent news for football and us in particular, the margin for error will be much smaller meaning us gambling on certain players staying fitt or like Le Coq last season and hopefully Theo this developing over the season to fill glaring weaknesses will be more risky than ever.
Top 4 has been quite comfortable with either Liverpool or utd dropping out of competition at different times a top 5 is good for everyone IMO

3 from 5 is much better and more exiting than 4 from 4 bring it on may the worse 2 teams enjoy their Thursday night adventures into the far reaches of Europe.
Just one question the 4th place trophy who gets to keep it the team that's won it most :-( or like pass the parcel who it lands on last? :-)

Agreed 5 into 3 is much more exciting and should have the effect that everyone needs to improve.
That being said am i the only one that seems to think that despite klopp being appointed Liverpool are still along way from returning to the to 5.

I like him as a manager but not sure i would put him in the Ferguson, Wenger, Jose, Carols Ancolt, Pep category just yet.

I certianly don't think that just with the addition of him at the top it will transform them into a champ league team this season.

I read a tidbit from. you about him. possibly leaving Bayern next summer, any chance of him being our next manager

I know how you love those international breaks as much as me Derby. Fortunately, i've timed my holiday to coincide with it (not deliberately) so no need to find an overcrowded pub that serves beer strictly in bottles, no taps and watch an Arsenal game with Spanish commentary.

For the record, I hope Pep doesn't come to us any time soon. Atleast not until Arsene retires.
