The reason, why Wolfsburg denied the agreement ist, that the contract hasn't yet signed.

But it's a verbal agreement . Contract until 2017

Transfer fee is 20 Mio € and AFC wasn't willing to pay this sum.

Arsenal will travel back to Germany to make an improved offer for Lars Bender.

GermanGooner

1.) Don't mean to be a jerk but surely offers do not need to be done in person?

2.) Why travel? Why not send a carrier pigeon? Oh wait, why not pick up the phone or send an email? Genius!

3.) ? surely it would be easier and cheaper just to send an email!

4.) Making an offer in person is much more personal regarding the player. We wouldn't have gotten Sanogo if it wasn't for Wenger speaking with him in person

5.) Offers are made in person or, oddly, through fax. Not over the phone or through e-mail. At least usually.

6.) Send a crow like Tyrion Lannister.

7.) So on the sanogo front arsene should have just sent an email. What a waste of wages that could be put to buying an actual quality player and not some reject that has never played more than 5 successive games with out injury!

8.) Surely they would just send a telegraph STOP

9.) To go and talk to him in person would be tapping up person, Sanogo's contract was near it's end so he was free to speak to suitors.

WG

10.) I think its easier to sit down in person and negotiate in then there's nothing lost intranslation. and wg there going to negotiate a fee not tap the player up

11.) To the poster dissing sanogo. he's had one injury. broke a foot. now he's coming back from that. to say he's going to be the next big thing is premature but he is a free transfer after all and the potential is there. to call it a waste of wages is simply ignorant.

oh another thing. just because we're supposed to buy proven ability does not interfere with the clubs policy of bringing in young talent. the wage structure is probably to be blamed but not the talent.

am in no way an expert in this matter but thought I would share my thoughts nevertheless

12.) Why has it gone so quiet regarding the Hig and Fellani deals?

13.) To my knowledge in which I got from several reports on the player, Sanogo has never played 5 consecutive games, to me he sounds like a diaby syndrome player BUT he must have something if Wenger is as interested as he is.

Maygrove Gooner!

14.) Yeh he has something going for him Maygrove, it was his price tag. Wenger seems terrified of taking a risk in the transfer market for 'exceptional talent'.

The reason why Higuain was not presented by AFC, are only tax matters. Real Madrid want to write him in the balance sheets for upcoming season.

GermanGooner

GermanGooner

1.) Sounds like a reasonable reason

2.) Similar to a few signings we have made

Real reporting period ends today, just as the window opens!

Fingers crossed

SY4

3.) So any idea when he will be announced as a gooner?

4.) 30 Jun 2013 19:11:28
yeah when he signs!

stockers8

5.) 30 Jun 2013 19:16:04
not true at all

6.) Probably leave for Far East on say 7/7, with first match scheduled for 14/7.
Suggest they would want all players on board for 7/7 assuming transfers are in the pipeline.

7.) The reason that higuain has not been presented is because we have not signed him nothing to do with tax. Knowing the way we do our business we are probably haggling over fifty quid.

Luiz Gustavo has just confirmed on the trainings ground today, that his way leads to the Premier League. A journalist spoke to him.

GermanGooner

1.) Thanks. But which PL club! Hopefully its us, because I think chelski were sniffing around him as well.

Think he'll be a good signing for us - less expensive than fellini and better than Capoue imo.

2.) I thought Chelsea Chelsea's main defensive midfield target was Kheidra?

The reasons for the delay in the Higuain transfer are tax matters.
Madrid would like to write the transfer in the upcoming seasons balance sheets. Trust me!
