I know the results have been abysmal and I know there needs to be changes for us to compete again and I know Wenger is not perfect - BUT as I have said before, he has been working with a shoe string budget for the past 7 years. With a lot of negativity in the press I just wanted to say the following:
- Arsenal's net spend averages 19 out of the 20 PL teams in the last 5 years and we have been in the top 4 because of Wenger, no other manager has achieved this.
-the new commercial contracts that will be in force for next year should make an extra 40m or so per year, with net debt reducing annually - now that we have money at the least he should be given the chance to spend it - it was not by coincidence that we were skint between 05 to 13/14 - it was all a part of the Emirates plan.
- these years have set up Arsenal for life (not for short term success) without the need to go into debt or to get a sugar daddy - I wonder in 20 years what people will say about these years and Wenger.
- Wenger has spent big in the past, relative to what he has spent in his recent years and so I don't see why he won't do that now that the club has some money again.
- Wenger did not leave us at the top of his game when most of the players at the top of their game did! Only last month there was talk about Madrid coming in for him again.
- He genuinely loves the club as do the fans.
I still back the team and him, if now he has money to spend and things still don't work out, then and only then we should consider to get rid of him.

2.) Shoe-string budget? So obviously you don't believe the yearly hype that he has millions to spend! I do not believe either, he won't spend and IG, SK and H-W want the money for their own bank balances.
