German newspaper Bild is now reporting that the Brazilian midfielder, Luiz Gustavo, is stalling on his proposed move to Wolsburg as he would prefer to move to the Premier League and compete in the Champions League with Arsenal or Chelsea. might be interesting developments if this turns out to be on the money

1.) And stunt the growth of Ramsey. No thank you.

2.) Yeah he is great, we would be doomed without him, he is really great in passing the ball to player next to him, excellent. Don't you think he had enough time to grow?He made so many mistakes which destroyed us so many times. Probably the slowest player of the entire EPL

The Croydon Guardian are reporting that Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh will have a medical with Crystal Palace today and it is thought that the move will be a permanent one rather than a loan deal which had previously been discussed. The deal is expected to be completed before Palace play Lazio at Selhurst Park tomorrow.

1.) More to it, sky are reporting its going to be another free transfer arsenal going to terminate his contract and let him go for free.

{Ed022's Note - I have heard its a mutually agreed termination of his contract which would give Palace more scope to manage his wage demands. He is on 60k per week currently so expect Palace to offer £45k-50k per week with bonuses...}

2.) Crystal Palace were impressed with the amount of time Chamakh could balance a ball on his head. They then realised the ball was stuck to his head with the amount of hair gel he puts on but by that time he had fooled them and they had already signed him.

3.) Lol, good one Sam :-D

Gees, if those reports are true about Wenger's wage offer and Suarez doesn't apologise, it'll be interesting to see if Liverpool are willing to keep to the script and potentially lose money on a player who may be forced to be side-lined anyway. Either wau I think BR wished life were as simple as it were back in Swansea.

Perez being included in the friendly tonight against City can only mean his trial was a success. Hopefully he'll be transfer no# 2

“I can assure the fans we will try very hard to keep them happy, ” Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger recently told Al Jazeera Sport. ”We are certainly ready to spend the money, but the process is going slowly but surely. ”

Promising sign.

Lolli

1.) Wenger's bad choice of words he should have said 'make' instead of 'keep' them happy.

Crossed fingers (and toes) for a decent draw for the CL!
