I'm sick of people saying how sad it is that the fans have turned on wenger after just one game and that there is still two weeks of the transfer window left. This is not just one game or one season either this is eight years. He has had three months to strengthen the squad why leave it until the last minute. I posted this time last year saying that selling your best players to your rivals shows a lack of ambition and will make it harder to attract top players to the club and it looks like I've been proven right.
Over the past nine years we have been slowly moving backwards and if something doesn't change in the management or running of the club then we will continue the steady decline to mediocrity.
If we don't qualify for champions league and lose to spurs the I think it's really time for wenger to go.
And wengerism before you start telling us what he's done for the club remember this Brian Clough won the European Cup twice with Notingham Forrest and then got them relegated.
1.) Agree with all of this.
Wengerism can say what he wants (frankly, I think he's a S***s troll or AKBer, and in the case of the latter he can sod off to the next club AW goes to. He won't be missed.) but it rings extremely hollow. Wenger had 3 months to get it right and he didn't. He's the one in charge of xfers, so this is all on his shoulders.
He could've done what the other European sides have done and taken care of their business before even August 1st but didn't because he thought he's a step ahead of everyone when in fact he's been several steps behind the last few years.

how much do you want to bet that the only signing we make is a virtual unknown winger as a replacement for Gervinho for a fee similar to what we received for him.

Question] what would your opinion of wenger be if Cesc signed for united and we didn't even make a bid?
1.) Depends on who we signed
Depends if Cesc told him he was not interested in coming home as seen what RVP has done
Depends if Wenger has never forgiven him for forcing the move to Barca
I trust Wenger to make the right decision

Seriously, if Cesc what's to go play for the Mancs with Moyes in charge, good luck to him.

I hope we don't sign Higuain. With the amount of medicals he has had over the past week there must be major concerns over his long term fitness
1.) LOL. he's had the same amount of medicals as we have had people who are 'in the know' announcing he was signing by end of the week. everyweek.

there does not seem to be desire or hunger at the club. from top to bottom every one just seems to be content with the fact that we are slipping further and further behind every season. the players don't seem motivated the board don't care and the manager thinks everything is all right. what sort of message did it send to our squad when we sold the leagues top goal scorer and club captain to our biggest rival. what world class talent are we going to attract when we sell our best player every season. I don't know if wenger should stay or go but I do know that something needs to change. I feel that gazidis should go the fact that we have let so many contracts run into there final year is unacceptable. I think that we need someone like david dien that can say to wenger this is not working or that is not right because without someone you respect telling you that you're wrong you're going to make the same mistakes again and again. and that is exactly what has been happenig in the last five or six years
