Ed002, you said you expect arteta to go I didn't realise there was concrete interest in him, would you expect a DM replacement if he goes and none if he dosnt?

Rumours going around that khedira has rejected a chance to sign a new 2 year deal and wants to join Arsenal. RUMOUR. may not be true,
but wanted to know peoples thoughts. personally i'd rather have schneiderlin who is a bit more defensive minded and imo perfect for what we need
1.) Batch
Despite the "Unbelievable" markings, it seems as if you are correct as several Spanish newspapers this pm have reported that SK has turned down an extension to his current contract with RM which means he is now in his final year of current deal.; reports Chelsea as favourites to sign him, fractionally less than Man U and ourselves.
2.) The bonus though you get with Keidera is that he could be our enforcer and protector of our little German magician who IMHO is going to dominate next season, and also their fellow compatriot our beloved BFG to kick our magician up the butt and keep Keidera focussed and not go too far
I think he could be a great signing

Hi Eds,
I was wondering if there's any interest for striker Immobile, he's had a quality season in Serie A and personally I think he would score goals easily for a bigger club.

Just thoughts on this.
I seem to be a disappointed fan in mertesacker so far this season he dosn't seem to be showing the desire he has for the past few seasons and i'm hoping it is a getting back into the season but I want to see him show more as I know he has it in him, jogging back is not acceptable when they are attacking! they should be putting their bodys on the line to save a goal.
1.) Batch, I totally agree we know he is not blessed with pace;) but he has been just jogging to get back not even closing the angles down like he used to. I would consider dropping him for chambers today as he is showing the attitude we need in these hard times

To all those bashing Welbeck havn't even given him a chance to play on the pitch yet.
Just wanted to point out that his goal per game when playing as a striker was actually very good. just under a goal a game I can't remember the exact percentages but it was high!
GIve him a chance, get behind the arsenal player he's going to be great
1.) If what we hear is correct about his work ethic. Between him, Sanchez and Kos - we are starting to build a backbone of warriors into the team - like the good times. I look forward to an arsenal that competes hard is hard to play against. Welbeck could be a huge part of that - thrilled!

Last season we had 3 cb's this season we have 3 cbs ( kos, mert, chambers)
it's not ideal but wasnt that bad last season.
RB cover we still have bellerin who was impressive at pre season. so don't worry ;D

Really rate gibbs, however sometimes his attitude isn't what it should be. - tracking back. Once he's injured in a season never seems to recover till the next one.
monreal needs to be moved on definately,
It's well documented that, obviously they don't get the whole figure but they will get a large chunk of it.
MrD. - 4 million is a very low estimate of a players shirt at RM, they will undoubtedly get their money back in shirt sales alone for rodriguez.
I think ronaldo was paid for very quickly as well
Wouldn't sell arteta, flamini, rosicky, rosicky injects pace, arteta and flamini can do a job(wouldnt want them 1st choice) and they are influential in the dressing room
Wenger said something about him being obliged by fifa to give them 4 weeks off. so that takes them to about a week before the palace game.
