So it seems all the good players we were linked with, with what looked like an an actual chance of signing these players, are now going elsewhere simply because Arsenal seem to not be able to complete a top player capture.
And now on top of that it seems the Fabregas switch is a real possibility for Utd, what was the point of Arsenal having a first option on him if they are just going to leave Utd once again sign one of the best players we have a chance of getting to play for our club.
iIts getting harder and harder to defend Wenger and his philosophies.
1.) I gave up defending him years ago, it appears he thinks his personal philosophy more important than the club - if the purpose of a football team is not to try and win what is it? We have the money, Wenger is not using the resources at his disposal to improve the team. If he suddenly pulls off a couple of world class signings he might keep his job, but really if nothing happens I doubt the fans are stupid enough to fall for his usual "looking for top top quality" and "nobody was available" again.

early in the window, good that arsenal are being linked with all these high profile players. most interesting at the moment for me is Fabregas' odds have gone to 8/11 to sign for arsenal on .
