Arsenal's company net debt is 135.6m, the stadium debt is at around 230m which is kept separate from other debt. Arsenal will be debt free in 2031.

Prime example of a dumbass attempting to sound numerically literate. Complete and utter nonsense.

Kept seperate from other debt? Don't embarrass yourself.

@None of those players were stars before signing for Arsenal. Bergkamp flopped in Italy so Arsenal bought him on the cheap and the others were mediocre before Wenger got the best out of them. And Lehman was never any good. {ed's note - Bergkamp was a huge star, that is why you had to pay £7.5m despite him flopping in Italy. Lehman was Germany's number one keeper (well sharing the job), that makes him well known I would say. Overmars was certainly a big star that just about every fan was calling for their team to buy when Arsenal nipped in and got him. Pires was well known in football circles but had always turned down big offers to join other teams before Arsene persuaded him to join you. Too many of you Arsenal fans have bought into this media rubbish about Wenger being able to unearth unknown talents. Never has he done that, what he has done in the past was take a chance on players that were failing at their present club and add a few talented players that were breaking through. Next you will be saying Walcott was an unknown or Fabregas.}

Ed, agree with you entirley, i am amazed how many so called arsenal supporters believe that players never had a life or career b4 joining arseanl, all players at every club tend to flourish more at one than others, does`nt mean they were no good.
To say Bergkamp was not a star before he came to arsenal is plain stupid, Ajax`s No1 player when Ajax where a great team full of stars, plus a top international for Holland.
Wake up jesus walks on water not arsene.
ps that was my response earlier forgot to sign it.
ike.

Arsenal's group net debt was 297m last year and it has been reduced to 135.6m this year, although i must add this does not include the Stadium debt, the stadium debt is kept separate and stands at between 220m-230m. This is paid off in mortgage style and will be completely paid off by 2031.

Arsenal's entire net debt was £297.7m (incl Stadium), it's now £135. 6m.

Turnover has risen from £313 to 379 per annum.

You can check these figures yourself, go to Companies House.

I have NEVER heard of board members of any business being paid the levels you claim.

I don't think Arsenal will invest in Star Players, but I do think they will augment their squad with slightly more expensive/ known players partly to reduce the pressure on Wenger who will be faced by shareholders who now know the level of money he has to play around with.

Guys i do not mean to p!ss on your parade but Gazidas has said today that Arsenal will continue to buy youth and develop them rather than buy stars, so stop embarrassing yourselves by writing such drivel.

There will be no Navas, no Stekelenburg, no Hazard, no Vertongen, no anyone that you have heard of, Wenger buys old players (Silvestre, Squillaci) on the cheap or he buys players that no one has heard of, things will never change while Wenger is in charge.

Arsenal announced pre-tax profits today of 56m, after tax it will be 28m, then subtract 20m to pay the shareholders and you are left with 8m, that is how much you will have to spend next year plus sales. The 236m debt you still owe for the stadium will be paid off by no earlier than 2031. After this time you may be able to afford some stars?

Wenger might look to strengthen the left back position with both Clichy and Gibbs showing defensive vulnerabilities. It is said Wenger is looking for an Eboue-isque player on the left side. A few bloggers have thrown up Marcell Janses to be the one being scouted.
