So what happens to Jenkinson now ed, with Chambers arriving? He looked great for a while, but hasn't been given much time on the pitch. Surely we'd dump Miguel before him. Any insight into the plan?

{Ed002's Note - A loan.}

Ive watched the sky at night and wondered how some of those beautiful stars got up there, and do the same with jenko when watching Sky on a sunday

Jenkinson is a terrible excuse for posing as a footballer, he would stand a better chance auditioning for the next Hercules role then as a world class full back what a flanker!

Agree3 Disagree14

You've quite clearly never watched Jenko play. Season before last he was comfortably better than Sagna.

Agree12 Disagree2

Sorry but Jenko is a very solid full back. You are clueless.

Agree8 Disagree1

Clueless? Really? mate I understand supporting our team and players and I've been doing so for a while for example being a season ticket holder for the last 15 yrs, if he was even possibly going to turn out good we wouldn't be entertaining interest from other clubs, he's getting loaned for an advert not to be groomed for a future Arsenal FC right-back. If he played better than Sagna a season ago why did every Arsenal fan panic when Sagna left? Surely he would be even better now? Why are we looking for 2 players in that position, because he's not even good enuff for back up, I wish the lad well and hope he proves me wrong, but truth is he would shine more if he earned his corn lower down the table.

Agree1 Disagree9

Jenko was outstanding when he filled in for Sagna. I was amazed Sagna walked straight back into the team. I wanted Jenko and Chambers to be our RB's this year but getting a year or two on loan will do Jenko no harm. The person that could kill his Arsenal career is Bellerin. I still think we may see him stay as a CB or a RB with Chambers moving to CB in the future.

Agree4 Disagree0

You say your a season ticket holder then that worries me how little you support one of our young players. Get behind them and encourage not slag off.
As for wouldn't be entertaining interest from Other clubs let's have a look in our team who've been out on loan. Szczesny Rambo Wilshere Gibbs. Did they have no future at the time too?

I suspect Wenger will loan Jenks to a side that will use him in the DM role as a couple of years getting that experience means he'll be ready in his mid-20s to take on the role for us. Regardless of his positional sense as a FB he is an athlete and can tackle and pass well enough to be a vital squad player for us in the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who on earth are these fans that were panicking when Sagna left? If Jenks is a lousy excuse for a footballer, why is Wenger looking to loan him out instead of getting rid of him. I seem to recall Ramsey getting loaned out not so long ago.

Agree2 Disagree0

Jenkinson had a poor season last season & doesn't look like he will make the grade at Arsenal, expect him to be sold, sooner rather than later.

Agree0 Disagree9

Robbie,

He hardly played at all last season. To say someone had a poor season who started 5 or so games is nonsense.

Agree3 Disagree0

G95 - Jenkinson made 22 appearances in all competitions last season and he had a poor season, hence why Wenger is looking to sell him and has bought 2 right-backs, rather use Jenkinson.

Agree0 Disagree0

And how many of them were sub appearances in the last 5 mins. He has hardly put a foot wrong since his first year here.

I hope he only goes out on loan and comes back to either play RB or CB.

Khedira wants to join us and has lowered his wages from £150,000 to £134,000 per week.

What a trooper he must be Dags. Not many people would drop their wages by 16 grand a week!
Unbelievable consideration! :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd never take a 10% pay cut, he must be mad

Agree0 Disagree0

Can any of the Eds answer this for me? When wages are quoted in the media as a general rule are they quoted as before or after tax? Thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Before tax.}

Is there actually any interest in Khedira anymore Ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I would not rule out a move for Khedira.}

DAGS
how will he live on that, is their a food bank that might help him out.
Jesus I need a rise

Agree0 Disagree0

Welsh gooner if you need a rise watch some clips of Sanchez :)

Agree0 Disagree0
