About mcgregor signing after being left out of the cup semi final today,
as a rangers and arsenal fan i can whole heartedly say this is nonsense. any rangers fan knows that at the start of last season alexander was told he would start all the cup games. he was even in yesterdays daily record saying it hadn't been confirmed he'd start them for this season but has started every one.

Ed do you think wenger will sign a defender tomoorow? im really hoping he does as we need one badly. whats your thoughts? cheers mate. {ed's note - I think he has to doesn't he? I know he has certainly been looking, but the same as in the summer with a keeper, he seems to have targets that there is no chance of getting with no real back up plan. It makes no sense to me, but he will probably prove me wrong by pulling a rabbit out the hat now! Kjaer is the only one I have heard that is possible at this moment in time, but possible rather than likely.}

Just heard that Nasri will be out for 6 weeks, missing the Barca game. Wenger has decided to bid 17.5 million for Honda as he is keen for him not to join Liverpoo and doesn't think Arshavin is good enough to play Barca. However rumour has it that CSKA might reject due to lack of time to bring in a replacement. Watch this space.
P.S I don't expect this deal to happen, so don't get your hopes up. Chances are it will be a silent deadline day in Islington. {ed's note - what lack of time? The transfer window in Russia does not shut when ours does! They can still buy players after our window shuts.}

I'm a rangers fan and there has been a lot of talk about Boughy and McGregor going to Arsenal
Boughy I can't see hapening we have only 6 defenders and he's our best.
I also saw on this page a Loan for Bougherra this will not happen we will not loan out our best defender (unless their was a decent amount of money up front)
McGregor I could see happening as our second keeper Neil Alexander Is a really good keeper and he recently signed a new contract and our third keeper Grant Adam -Charlie Adam's Little bro- Is a decent prospect and then our fourth is the U21 keeper so that's the only department were covered in.
Heard Man U want McGregor aswell
