I'm new to this site but I have been following it for a while and have supported Arsenal for over 50 years since I was 6. I think the time must have come by now where we have got to stop quibbling over a few quid here and there and actually put our hands in our pockets and buy some players. I agree with some posts that Arsene is running the place which makes me wonder is he a football manager first or an accountant. We need to be able to show we can compete this season and stop buying make do players. Yes I know we have Cazorla but we were lucky to get him that was only because they needed the money badly. Anyhow as the saying goes you can keep saving money and be the richest person in the graveyard or in our case the richest team in the graveyard!
1.) Has it not occurred to you that it is only becuase of wenger's fruglness that we are finally in the position to compete financially!

Yeah and all those corpses can all afford Bentleys.
No point being in that position unless we do it. Which, unless I am very much mistaken is what the original poster was asking for.
If Robbie Fowler had been rumoured to be moving to a team every time he bought a house he would have been playing for every club in the country. He bought property's for investment all over the place I think he had around 400 different houses he rented out. So there's an answer to any rumour like thus.
