We need to sign at least 3 experienced players to bolster our squad in an attempt to stay in touch during the rest of the season. Our squad is just so fragile and the constant number of injuries is beyond belief - hopefully a new fitness guru will bring a change in training methods - and we have so many players who suffer what appear to be minor injuries who do not return for many weeks?. Arsene has done a magnificent job this season so far and it would be a shame if it all fell apart. It was clear from last night that our midfield, shorne of Jack and Rambo is lightweight and now with Flamini out for 4 matches too, we will just get over run by the top teams.
Same old story with Arsenal - injuries, injuries and more injuries, although this season we have added illness too. Please Arsenal, change the way that our players are conditioned, because this just can not be a coincidence! Funny how AW is now starting to moan about being short of numbers - well, all Arsenal fans knew this weeks ago so no more excuses.
There has to be a problem with our training methods, because we get far too many injuries and also the recovery period always seems prolonged. I don't recall so many problems when Gary Lewin was at
the club.
This would be a great signing - purely for the fun factor of Paul Merson trying to say his name on Soccer Saturday - I have given up on football reasons.
He's injured, so he must be destined for the Emirates!
